The posting

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ensures that daily order received via LMC Application, Discharges, or phone calls, are processed in a timely manner.
  2. Provides telephonic support to either patients, Service Assessment, or anyone who needs to speak with a supervisor.
  3. Monitors the phone system to ensure that all calls are being answered in a timely basis.
  4. Processes payroll on a timely basis and keeps record of all approved PTO.
  5. Learns and implements Medicare guidelines.
  6. Reviews pending daily orders to ensure that they are processed in a timely manner.
  7. Is responsible for training employees and checking their work.
  8. Disenrollments: Ensures that daily, all disenrollments are followed up on, and ensure that our equipment is recovered.
  9. Transitions: Ensures that the representative that was assigned to this task is making sure that all new patients are transitioned properly to avoid any delays.
  10. Ensures that the beginning of every hurricane season, we are ready to call of our oxygen patients. Once hurricane season is done, we transition those oxygen tanks back to the vendor.
  11. Assists the team as needed to process internal and external orders.
  12. Maintains compliance with HIPAA standards of patient and confidentiality.
  13. Follows up on pending orders on a daily basis; Provides an update to the Director
  14. Assists other leaders in the department when needed, to ensure that we are working as a team

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years DME experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a customer service, healthcare, DME, or related operational environment required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Fluent in English and Spanish required.

As a DME Customer Service Supervisor, you’ll oversee and support Patient Care Specialists to ensure daily orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. You’ll monitor day-to-day operations, reinforce consistent processes, and help keep the department running smoothly while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
