Onze klant is een gevestigde speler binnen de logistieke sector en beschikt over een modern, sterk geautomatiseerd distributiecentrum in Lokeren. Het magazijn is maar liefst 28 meter hoog, telt 10 verdiepingen en biedt plaats aan ongeveer 46.000 pallets. Dankzij geavanceerde automatisering worden de opslag en verwerking van goederen efficiënt georganiseerd.

Jobomschrijving

  • Je waakt over de dagelijkse werking van een volledig geautomatiseerd palletmagazijn en grijpt in wanneer zich problemen voordoen.
  • Je analyseert foutmeldingen en storingen via de computer en gaat gericht op zoek naar de oorzaak en een geschikte oplossing.
  • Je besteedt ongeveer 70% van je werktijd aan het opvolgen, analyseren en oplossen van storingen via de pc. De overige 30% trek je het magazijn in om ter plaatse interventies uit te voeren.
  • Je spoort operationele afwijkingen op, zoals pallets die verschoven, ingezakt of scheef gestapeld staan, of folie die niet correct aangebracht is.
  • Je controleert technische onderdelen, detecteert defecten aan bijvoorbeeld sensoren en zorgt ervoor dat deze opnieuw correct functioneren.
  • Je gaat actief op zoek naar pallets die niet correct geregistreerd staan of moeilijk terug te vinden zijn in het digitale systeem.
  • Je stemt dagelijks af met je vier collega-Warehouse Operators en houdt de communicatielijnen met de administratieve medewerkers kort.
  • Je werkt in een indrukwekkend, sterk geautomatiseerd magazijn van maar liefst 28 meter hoog en 10 verdiepingen.
  • Je stelt veiligheid altijd voorop, volgt de geldende procedures nauwgezet en draagt de nodige beschermingsmiddelen, waaronder een veiligheidsharnas.
  • Je beschikt over een sterk technisch inzicht en hebt een goede technische basis.
  • Je denkt logisch, analyseert situaties grondig en weet problemen op een gestructureerde manier aan te pakken.
  • Je neemt graag initiatief, werkt zelfstandig en draagt verantwoordelijkheid voor je taken.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk, zodat je informatie duidelijk kunt uitwisselen met collega's en administratieve medewerkers.
  • Je bent communicatief ingesteld en werkt graag samen met anderen om de dagelijkse werking vlot te laten verlopen.
  • Je voelt je comfortabel op hoogte en hebt absoluut geen last van hoogtevrees.
  • Je bent bereid om in een geautomatiseerde magazijnomgeving op 28 meter hoogte te werken.
  • Je neemt veiligheid serieus, draagt steeds de voorgeschreven veiligheidsuitrusting en respecteert alle veiligheidsvoorschriften.
  • Je stelt je flexibel op en bent bereid om uitzonderlijk tijdens het weekend te werken.
