Are you mechanically inclined, comfortable with tools, and looking for a hands-on field service career? Levitt-Safety is hiring a Field Service Technician to support operations at the Rocanville Potash Mine. This is a 4-day workweek (10 hours daily) drive-in/drive-out position based at the Rocanville Potash Mine with a company service truck. Applicants from Rocanville, Esterhazy, Moosomin, Wapella, Whitewood, and surrounding communities are encouraged to apply. You’ll work underground servicing and troubleshooting vehicle fire suppression systems on heavy mining equipment. If you have experience with heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, trucks, industrial machinery, or mechanical repair, your skills can transfer well to this role. No fire protection experience required - we’ll provide the training. What’s in it for you?

What You’ll Do
Service, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain vehicle fire suppression systems on heavy mining equipment underground in the mine Use hand tools and perform basic electrical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues Complete inspections, service reports, and required documentation accurately and on time Drive a company service truck to customer sites as required Work closely with the service team to plan and complete daily service work Help ensure critical fire and safety systems are operating properly Follow all mine, customer, and Levitt-Safety safety procedures
Your Mechanical Experience Could Be a Great Fit We’re open to candidates with experience in:
Heavy equipment maintenance or repair Agricultural or farm equipment Truck and transport repair Mining or industrial maintenance Automotive or mechanical shop work Oil & gas field service Other hands-on mechanical or equipment-related environments

Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools Basic electrical troubleshooting skills are an asset Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Strong safety mindset and attention to detail Dependable, organized, and willing to learn Comfortable using a phone or tablet for service reports and training Ability to work independently underground while being part of a service team
Physical & Safety Requirements This is a safety-sensitive position in an underground mining environment. You must be comfortable:
Working underground around heavy mining equipment Working in tight or confined spaces and climbing ladders Lifting and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs Wearing required PPE, including a respirator where required Following strict mine, customer, and workplace safety procedures Completing required inspections and service documentation accurately Passing required drug and alcohol screening and background checks
