You will also contribute to reporting, analytics, project coordination, and recurring operational activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain experience in business operations, process improvement, analytics, technology enablement, and project management while working with cross-functional teams.

Location Requirements: On-Site in Dayton, Ohio.

Position Start Date: June 14, 2027

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Law School Operations Manager and Operations team to identify and evaluate opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and improve operational processes. Partner with stakeholders to understand current workflows, identify improvement opportunities and potential risks, recommend practical solutions, and support implementation of improvements using available technology, Microsoft 365, reporting tools, and approved AI capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and team to develop consistent approaches for recurring work that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, clarify ownership, and make processes easier to execute, measure, maintain, and transfer to backup resources.
  • Document key Law School operational processes, including procedures, process maps, controls, decision points, ownership, escalation paths, service expectations, and backup coverage.
  • Support the Operations team with recurring reporting and data analysis by maintaining accurate records, validating information, resolving discrepancies, and preparing reports for business leaders and field teams.
  • Assist with Lexis Associate program administration, including onboarding, rosters, system access, budgets, and program reporting.
  • Support recurring operational activities involving registration codes, product access and entitlements, audits, customer accounts, pricing, renewals, and contracts.
  • Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, compensation reconciliation, and other financial and performance-management processes.
  • Coordinate projects and recurring workstreams by tracking deadlines, action items, risks, results, and stakeholder communications.

Requirements

  • Be on track to receive a Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, analytics, finance, information systems, or a related field with a graduation date of May 2027, and demonstrate relevant experience through employment, internships, co-op assignments, academic projects, volunteer activities, student organizations, or other applicable work.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel to organize and reconcile data, perform analysis, and create reports using formulas, lookups, filters, pivot tables, and charts.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to document processes, explain information clearly, and deliver accurate work within established timelines.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, organize priorities, and adapt to evolving business needs and deadlines with appropriate support and resources.
  • Sound judgment and professionalism when handling confidential business, financial, customer, and employee-related information.
  • Collaborative, customer-focused, and team-oriented approach with the ability to build effective working relationships, ask questions, identify risks, and work effectively across teams and organizational levels.
  • Experience with or exposure to process improvement, process mapping, project coordination, data visualization, or continuous-improvement methodologies.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
