Senior Program Manager

As Senior Program Manager at LeydenJar, you will lead some of our most critical programs across R&D, engineering and operations. You bring structure and direction to complex, multidisciplinary programs and connect strategic priorities with execution.

Working closely with project managers, department heads and senior leadership, you create clarity on priorities, progress, risks and dependencies and ensure programs stay on track.

LeydenJar develops advanced silicon anode technology for next-generation batteries, with the potential to significantly increase battery energy density.

As we move from technology development towards industrialization, our programs are growing in scale and complexity. This makes strong coordination across R&D, engineering, operations and external partners increasingly important.

Your role

As Senior Program Manager, you will:

• Lead and oversee complex, multidisciplinary programs across R&D, engineering and operations.
• Further develop a structured program and project management approach across LeydenJar.
• Create transparency on planning, progress, budgets, risks, resources and dependencies.
• Challenge and support project and line managers on scope, priorities and execution.
• Translate strategic priorities into clear objectives and executable plans.
• Provide senior management with clear insights to support decision-making.
• Minimize operational issues through proactive monitoring, investigation, and corrective actions.
• Partner/ report to the CFO to ensure operations remain on budget, improve cost efficiency, and monitor quality and targets
• Align key internal and external stakeholders around program objectives.

What you bring?

• 8+ years of strong program management experience in a complex technical, R&D-driven or industrial environment.
• Proven experience leading large, multidisciplinary programs with significant budgets and multiple stakeholders.
• The ability to operate at both strategic and operational level and translate strategy into execution.
• A structured and analytical approach, combined with pragmatism and a strong focus on delivery.
• The confidence to challenge stakeholders constructively and make issues visible when needed.
• A Master’s or PhD degree in a technical field.
• The ability and curiosity to understand complex technical topics and assess their impact on the wider program.

You are comfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities can evolve. You create clarity in complexity, bring people together around common priorities and maintain focus on results.
