About the Job

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Cuisine – Saudi Cuisine to lead our culinary team and oversee the daily operations of the Saudi cuisine kitchen. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in traditional Saudi cuisine, kitchen management, menu execution, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Saudi cuisine kitchen and daily culinary operations.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of authentic Saudi dishes according to established standards.
  • Develop and maintain recipes, menus, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate the culinary team to achieve high performance.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portion control.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP compliance.
  • Monitor food costs, portion control, waste, and kitchen expenses.
  • Manage inventory, stock rotation, ordering, and receiving of ingredients.
  • Ensure proper mise en place and smooth kitchen operations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
  • Introduce improvements and innovative ideas while preserving the authenticity of Saudi cuisine.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment and work areas are clean, safe, and properly maintained.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Kitchen Management.

Qualifications:

  • Culinary Arts or related qualification is preferred.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of culinary experience, with strong experience in Saudi cuisine.
  • Proven experience in a Chef de Cuisine or senior culinary leadership role.
  • Excellent knowledge of traditional Saudi dishes, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Good knowledge of food cost control, inventory, and kitchen operations.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced culinary environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
