Veiligheid krijgt pas waarde wanneer ze ook op de werf werkt. Als preventiecoördinator zorg je binnen een bouwbedrijf voor de vertaalslag van procedures en regelgeving naar concrete afspraken op het terrein. Je bent regelmatig aanwezig op werven en sites, maar werkt tegelijk mee aan audits, risicoanalyses, opleidingen en certificaties. Daardoor krijg je een brede functie waarin administratie, advies en praktijk elkaar voortdurend afwisselen. Zowel een preventieadviseur niveau 1 als niveau 2 krijgt hier ruimte om expertise verder uit te bouwen en verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen. Ideaal voor iemand die na een eerste ervaring klaar is om preventie breder en zelfstandiger aan te pakken.

Takenpakket

Als preventiecoördinator neem je onder meer volgende verantwoordelijkheden op:

  • Werven en sites bezoeken, risico’s herkennen en samen met medewerkers zoeken naar praktische verbeteringen.
  • Risicoanalyses, TRA’s, veiligheidsinstructies en andere preventiedocumentatie opmaken en actualiseren.
  • Arbeidsongevallen onderzoeken en afgesproken verbeteracties nauwgezet opvolgen.
  • Certificaties zoals VCA, asbesterkenning en Achillesprotocol mee beheren en audits voorbereiden.
  • Veiligheidsopleidingen, toolboxen en andere preventieacties organiseren en opvolgen.
  • Leidinggevenden adviseren over veilige werkmethodes, PBM’s en operationele risico’s.

Profiel

Als preventiecoördinator herken je jezelf in het volgende:

  • Een diploma Preventieadviseur Niveau 1 of Niveau 2 vormt de basis voor deze functie.
  • Een eerste relevante ervaring binnen preventie zorgt ervoor dat je snel zelfstandig kan meedraaien.
  • Achtergrond in de bouw geniet de voorkeur, maar ervaring binnen productie of een andere technische omgeving kan eveneens aansluiten.
  • Mensen aanspreken op veiligheid doe je duidelijk, rustig en constructief.
