The posting

Company Description

For over 40 years, LGI Healthcare Solutions has built software that healthcare organizations depend on. AI is now at the heart of that work — not as a destination, but as the engine behind our next generation of mission-critical solutions and our enduring mission: helping healthcare organizations perform at their best.

We're looking for exceptional people who are passionate about technology, relentless in their standards, and driven to push what's possible further. At LGI, curiosity isn't a nice-to-have, it's how we work.

We're looking for talent who explore and innovate by instinct and want their work to matter beyond the codebase: shaping decisions, enhancing processes, and enabling healthcare practitioners.

Job Description

Role purpose

The Business Analyst contributes to the analysis of business needs and the functional design of digital solutions tailored to clients and users. Working with Product and Technology teams and other stakeholders, they help define, structure, and validate proposed solutions to support the delivery of cohesive, relevant features that create value.

They incorporate generative and agentic artificial intelligence into their daily practices to accelerate discovery, design, and validation activities while ensuring the quality and reliability of their deliverables. Through their expertise and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, they contribute to the evolution of business analysis practices and the adoption of effective and innovative ways of working.

Responsibilities

Requirements discovery and functional design

  • Conduct discovery and business requirements analysis for assigned projects, in collaboration with product managers, clients, and stakeholders, to clarify objectives and expected outcomes.
  • Analyze processes, user journeys, business rules, and functional constraints to propose solutions that address identified needs and deliver the desired user experience.
  • Structure requirements, help validate assumptions, and evaluate functional options, considering business value, feasibility, risks, and implementation complexity.
  • Document functional behavior, validation rules, exceptions, and interactions between solution components, in accordance with product direction, design standards, and application architecture.

AI-accelerated prototyping and validation

  • Design and build interactive, functional prototypes using generative AI tools to quickly illustrate business needs, user journeys, and proposed solutions.
  • Explore and help compare different solution options to facilitate discussion, reduce uncertainty, and accelerate discovery and validation.
  • Use AI-assisted prototyping tools to present, adjust, and refine solutions based on feedback from clients, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders.
  • Verify the relevance, consistency, and reliability of AI-generated outputs and ensure prototypes meet discovery, validation, and communication objectives, without treating them as production-ready deliverables.

Functional analysis and Agile deliverable management

  • Use generative and agentic AI tools daily to create, refine, and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and functional documentation, while verifying their accuracy and consistency.
  • Help break features down into deliverable increments and prioritize them based on business value, user needs, dependencies, and implementation effort.
  • Work with product managers to clarify and maintain the product backlog, using automation and agentic AI capabilities to improve the efficiency and quality of analysis activities.
  • Support development and quality assurance teams in understanding requirements, defining test scenarios, and functionally validating deliverables to ensure they meet business needs.

Collaboration, communication, and support

  • Help facilitate discovery, design, and validation workshops with clients and multidisciplinary teams, using prototypes to support discussion and clarify needs.
  • Present proposed functional solutions, explain the options considered, gather feedback, and help establish a shared understanding of the chosen direction.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, developers, and quality assurance teams, particularly during Agile planning, refinement, review, and validation activities.
  • Share knowledge and practices with colleagues, help resolve functional issues, and contribute to the collective development of skills in business analysis, prototyping, and AI use.

Innovation and evolution of business analysis practices

  • Integrate generative and agentic AI into day-to-day discovery, prototyping, functional design, and documentation activities to improve efficiency and deliverable quality.
  • Experiment with new tools, prompting techniques, and automation approaches to identify opportunities to improve ways of working.
  • Help improve business analysis methods, templates, tools, and practices by sharing lessons learned and proposing adjustments suited to team needs.
  • Apply responsible AI practices, particularly with respect to confidentiality, security, human validation, and risk management, while keeping knowledge of emerging technological capabilities up to date.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration, or another relevant discipline.
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Certification in business analysis, product management, or an Agile methodology is an asset.

Experience

  • At least five (5) years of relevant experience in business analysis or functional analysis in a software development environment.
  • Experience in functional design and the delivery of web solutions, including user journeys, business rules, and integration mechanisms.
  • Hands-on experience designing interactive, functional prototypes and forms using generative AI tools, which can be demonstrated during the selection process.
  • Ability to turn a business need into a functional prototype, explore different options, and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
  • Hands-on experience using generative and agentic AI to support and automate business analysis activities, particularly functional documentation, user story writing, acceptance criteria, and product backlog management.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
