Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Galax Family Care Clinic

Schedule: Day Shift Monday - Friday (3) 11 hour days and every other weekend 8a - 2p

Galax Family Care now offers walk ins (urgent care) and has extended hours: Mon-Fri 8a-7p and weekends Sat and Sun 8-2

How you’ll contribute

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role:

-The family care center staff nurse provides quality care to our customers and performs those functions delegated and assigned by the center’s head nurse.

-Is familiar with and follows HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

-Maintains record keeping of appointments, orders, reports, films, and requisitions

-Demonstrates excellent customer service through his/her attitude and actions, consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission, and Values of the organization

What we’re looking for:

Applicants should have an active Virginia LPN license (single-state) or compact license. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.

Additional requirements include:

  • Graduation from a school of nursing in practical nursing required
  • BLS required within 30 days of hire, or prior to completion of orientation if 30 days before hire

Hourly Range: $19.03 - $24.40
