Registered Nurse (RN) Dialysis Job Type: PRN | Varied

Department/Unit Summary

The Dialysis Nurse (RN) provides specialized care for patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, administering and monitoring dialysis treatments in the hospital setting. This role collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care while educating and supporting patients and families throughout treatment.

How You Will Contribute

  • Assign resources based on patient needs, acuity, and staff competencies.
  • Respond to emergencies and support hospital-wide operations.
  • Facilitate communication between nursing staff, providers, patients, and leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Mentor and support nursing staff while promoting a positive work environment.

What we are looking for:

  • Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
  • Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Experience: One year previous experience preferred
  • Licenses: Active Arkansas or compact state RN license required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
  • Education: Associate's Degree required. BSN preferred.
