The Role

The Corporate FP&A Manager will own headcount and operating expense planning across Snorkel and serve as the finance partner to department leaders. You will turn hiring and spending plans into reliable forecasts, help teams make investment decisions and build better cost visibility. You will also manage Ramp and procurement workflows and implement planning tools as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead annual department budgets and rolling forecasts for headcount and non-headcount expenses, aligning spending with company growth and profitability targets.
  • Own the headcount and personnel cost model with People and Recruiting, reflecting hiring plans, attrition, compensation and benefits.
  • Partner with department leaders on hiring and investment decisions, identifying cost savings and evaluating tradeoffs in growth, capacity and profitability.
  • Partner with Accounting on month-end close, including expense accruals, and lead headcount and OpEx variance analysis against budget and forecast.
  • Own SaaS and vendor spend tracking, the purchase order system and procurement approvals, working with Legal, IT and Accounting on purchases and renewals.
  • Own and manage Ramp, including spend programs, company cards, approval workflows and expense policies, in partnership with Accounting.
  • Implement and administer planning tools such as Pigment or Anaplan and improve data integrations, reporting and planning processes.
  • Partner with the Senior FP&A Manager to prepare consolidated financial reporting, with clear commentary on spending trends and outlook for executive reviews and board materials.

About You

  • 5+ years of FP&A or business finance experience, including direct ownership of headcount and operating expense planning in a growing technology company.
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills and experience building models that connect hiring, vendor commitments and operating drivers to financial forecasts.
  • Hands-on experience managing Ramp, including spend approvals, expense controls and reporting.
  • Experience implementing and administering planning systems such as Pigment, Anaplan or similar platforms, including financial model design and data integrations.
  • Strong understanding of expense accruals, cost allocation and financial statements, with a record of partnering effectively with Accounting.
  • Ability to build relationships with department leaders, explain financial tradeoffs clearly and turn analysis into recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to establish practical processes, improve data quality and follow through across multiple workstreams.

Experience with SaaS or AI businesses, IT, cloud or inference costs, and contractor or services delivery economics is a plus.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
