The posting

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril's Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) business line builds next-generation products: hardware-enabled, software-defined systems that are fielded, operational, and scaling fast. The team operates at a fast tempo, and we are rapidly scaling development, production, and fielding. Anduril’s EW family-of-systems and roadmap is an exciting product mix of high-maturity, scaled products and next-gen EW development efforts that will change the technology landscape in this domain.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Head of Program Management owns the cost, schedule, and contractual performance of every active program in the EW portfolio. Your team of PMs sits at the nexus of the customer, the contract, and the delivery to ensure Anduril EW delivers what is on contract, and at the highest possible standard. You centralize and standardize the tools, processes, and operating rhythms that allow PMs to do their jobs and allow leadership to have clear insights across program. You own the PM skillset within EW and are expected to build, train, and lead the PM organization into a high performing programmatic leadership team here at Anduril.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Build, scale, and lead a team of Program Managers responsible for cost, schedule, and contractual performance across the EW portfolio
  • Centralize and standardize the tools, processes, and operating rhythms that allow PMs to execute across their programs
  • Ensure milestone delivery, CDRLs, reviews, and status reporting meet or exceed customer, and Anduril, expectations across all active programs
  • Establish standards and teach, coach, mentor a team of PMs what "good" looks like.
  • Orchestrate risks, dependencies, governance, and delivery planning across concurrent initiatives
  • Collaborate with growth and cross-functional leadership to drive program outcomes and expand program scope
  • Communication. You are an excellent executive communicator and provide business line leadership with clear and concise portfolio-level observations and insights

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years in program management, mission operations, or related leadership roles in defense or aerospace, with at least 5 leading a multi-program PM organization
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to distill cost, schedule, and contractual performance into clear, actionable insights for both internal leadership and external customers
  • Experience building and scaling PM organizations: hiring, structuring, and developing teams of program professionals
  • Demonstrated ability to build and enforce programmatic standards across a portfolio
  • Proven ability to operate as a trusted peer to technical and growth leadership
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in electronic warfare, RF systems, or sensor/effector programs
  • Experience with defense contracting and program management, to include contracts (FFP, CPFF), CDRLs, earned value management, milestone-based delivery, and the mechanics of how government programs run
  • Experience standing up or maturing a PM function: defining standards, building tooling, and establishing the discipline's credibility with engineering and leadership
  • Familiarity with working alongside growth teams to shape capture strategy and expand production programs
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
