Mission
Neko is redefining what prevention means, from treating illness when it arrives, to sustaining health before it's ever at risk. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear.
In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalised, actionable insights. It's a team that thinks in 10x, not 10%. Every role here plays a part in building a world where prevention is the norm, and where your work genuinely helps people live longer, healthier lives.
Neko Health is building a new kind of preventive health clinic, and every opening depends on a team that is trained and ready by day one. As Operator Launch Trainer, you will travel to each new site, train and sign off the operators, and leave a local educator partner behind.
About the role
Opening a clinic is when training matters most and is hardest to protect. This role is deliberately not tied to a market, so you can stay with a launch from the first training session through go-live. You will deliver the operator onboarding program to the global standard, assess readiness, and build the local educator partner.
What you will do
- Deliver the operator onboarding program on site at each new clinic and market opening, across the full pre-launch window.
- Teach and assess the clinical skills that sit alongside scanning, including phlebotomy and ECG.
- Assess each operator against the global competency criteria and sign them off on each device, or extend where more time is needed.
- Scan during Friends and Family and VIP sessions so trainees can shadow real member encounters and resolve quality gaps in real time.
- Identify and train the local operator education partner during the launch.
- Work as a pair with the Clinician Launch Trainer and give the Launch Manager an honest readiness position, flagging risks early.
- Run a retrospective after each launch and feed what you learn into the clinic-opening playbook.
Requirements
- Active CMA, CCMA, or LPN. Other nationally accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy certifications are also accepted: RMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CPT.
- 5+ years of post-registration experience in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical setting.
- 3+ years performing phlebotomy and ECG, with the ability to teach and assess both.
- 3+ years training, onboarding, or mentoring clinical staff, including assessing competency and giving direct, constructive feedback.
- 2+ years running a training program or workstream to a fixed date and handing over cleanly.
- Able to travel for most of your working time, including extended periods on site.
- Adaptable, direct, and calm when a plan changes. You are comfortable with ambiguity, build relationships quickly, hold the standard under timeline pressure, and leave sites better set up than you found them.
Nice to have
- Experience opening a clinic, site, or service, particularly in a new city or country.
- Experience building a local trainer or educator from scratch.
- Instructor certification in basic life support or phlebotomy, or multi-state licensure already held.
- Experience with ultrasound or other device-based procedures where technique affects output quality.
