Safety Officer

Salary: $4k - $7k

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor workplace safety and health policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and relevant requirements.
  • Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
  • Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings and worker safety orientations.
  • Investigate workplace accidents, incidents and near misses, and prepare reports.
  • Maintain safety documentation, inspection records and incident reports.
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors and relevant stakeholders on safety matters.
  • Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure safe work practices on site.
  • Foster a safe culture on site to bring employee awareness and work safety.

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Workplace Safety and Health or a related discipline.
  • Possess a valid WSH Safety Officer registration with MOM.
  • Relevant experience in construction, process or site safety will be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and safety practices.
  • Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
  • Responsible and proactive

Working hours:

Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm Alternate Sat
