Duties & Responsibilities:
Lincoln’s Manager, Consolidations and SEC Reporting leads our monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process and supports the preparation of external financial reporting for our publicly traded, multi-entity, multi-currency organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely monthly consolidated financial reporting and the preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards, overseeing intercompany accounting and eliminations, supporting statutory reporting coordination, and driving process improvements and systems automation across the global close. This role requires analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong leadership skills to support the company's financial and strategic goals while maintaining accurate financial reports.
Key responsibilities include:
- Consolidation & Close Leadership Support the monthly/quarterly close calendar for consolidation activities; coordinate deliverables across regions and corporate teams. Own the end-to-end global consolidation process, including consolidation journals, eliminations, foreign currency translation, and reporting packages. Report and analyze consolidated financial results, including variance analysis and key drivers by entity/region. Ensure consistent application of accounting policies across all entities and drive standardization of close procedures.
- Intercompany & Entity Management Oversee intercompany accounting processes, including reconciliation, settlement, and elimination entries. Establish and enforce intercompany governance, including matching procedures, cut-off policies, and documentation standards. Partner with local finance teams to ensure timely and accurate entity reporting and compliance with corporate requirements.
- SEC and Technical Accounting & Reporting Support the end-to-end preparation, drafting, and filing of Form 10‑Q and 10-K, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to SEC rules, U.S. GAAP, and company disclosure controls and procedures. Support technical accounting matters impacting consolidation (e.g., business combinations, FX matters, equity transactions, restructurings, impairments). Prepare and/or review consolidation-related footnote support, roll-forwards, and disclosure tie-outs. Ensure completeness and accuracy of consolidation adjustments and supporting documentation.
- Audit & Controls Coordinate with external auditors regarding consolidation, intercompany, and reporting topics. Maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting including control design, execution, and remediation. Own documentation for consolidation processes, key controls, and policy memos as needed.
- Systems & Process Improvement Administer and enhance consolidation tools (e.g., NetSuite, Workiva, or similar). Identify opportunities to automate reconciliations, improve data quality, shorten close timelines, and increase reporting transparency.
- Leadership & Collaboration Mentor and develop consolidation accountants/analysts; provide coaching and performance feedback. Collaborate cross-functionally with Treasury, Tax, Legal, FP&A and regional controllers on reporting requirements and transactions. Communicate complex accounting topics clearly to stakeholders at varying levels.

Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant exposure to consolidations and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of consolidation accounting (intercompany eliminations, FX translation, noncontrolling interests, earnings per share, equity method, etc.).
- Experience in a publicly-traded, multi-entity, multi-currency global environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite and Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling); proficiency with consolidation systems and ERPs.
- SEC reporting experience in preparing 10-Q, 10-K and proxy.
- Solid proficiency in accounting software (ie: Workiva and NetSuite).
- Familiarity with business intelligence software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Exposure to both U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience implementing or optimizing consolidation software (NetSuite).
- Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal controls.

The salary for this role is $115,000-$135,000 on an annual basis. This salary is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Chicago.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
