The posting

Link Logistics Real Estate (“Link”) is a leading operator of last-mile logistics real estate. Established by Blackstone in 2019, the company connects consumption, technology, and the supply chain across its portfolio, which spans more than half a billion square feet. With more than 5 percent of U.S. GDP flowing through our spaces, we leverage our scale, proprietary data and insights, and foundational focus on sustainability to drive success for our customers’ businesses and deliver value for our stakeholders. Link Logistics strives to be the most equitable and inclusive industrial real estate company in the business. We put our people, customers, and communities first and find ways to make a conscious, positive impact where we live and work, prioritizing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) across our workforce to deliver an optimal employee experience. Every day, we work to reinvent and lead our industry forward by thinking bigger and challenging the status quo.

Because we believe that good business must be synonymous with doing good, strong environmental, social and governance practices are foundational to our identity as a firm. These practices include setting ambitious goals to combat climate change, partnering with local nonprofits, and prioritizing internal diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.

Link’s 10-week paid summer internship program helps students gain valuable experience and develop business skills while learning the basics of logistics real estate. We offer internships with a variety of departments including Capital Markets, Corporate Communications, Development, Financial Planning & Analysis, Investments, Leasing, and more

Link is seeking actively enrolled juniors who are interested in gaining real estate experience as part of our Asset Management team. Summer interns will gain exposure to multiple markets and industrial property types while working closely with Asset Management, Property Management, Construction Management, and external broker partners.

What You Will Do:

  • Support the leasing team by performing analytical work related to leasing activity, market trends and asset-level strategy.
  • Participate in broker meetings and help evaluate leasing strategies, lease restructuring opportunities and sale-leaseback analysis.
  • Partner with Asset Management, Property Management and Construction Management teams to become familiar with Link’s assets and support portfolio-level initiatives.
  • Assist full-time analysts and associates with underwriting, due diligence, closing processes and other investment-related analyses.
  • Conduct ad hoc analytical projects connected to operating and growing a large industrial real estate portfolio.
  • Gain market exposure by working with listing brokers to discuss market conditions, evaluate opportunities and support business plan strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Current junior, or rising senior, enrolled at an accredited four-year institution.
  • Pursuing a degree in real estate finance, real estate development, business, economics, accounting, finance, mathematics, civil engineering or a related field.
  • Strong interest in commercial real estate, preferably industrial real estate, and real estate investing; no formal experience is required.
  • Basic understanding of real estate investment and financing concepts, including market analysis, financial analysis, property valuation and capital markets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with team members, brokers and senior leaders.
  • Must be actively enrolled in school at the time of internship consideration.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
