Bouwen is pas de helft van het werk

Data draait nooit om de tool, maar om de vraag erachter. Als Data Engineer bij LINKIT ga je die vraag niet uit de weg, je zoekt hem juist op.

De uitdaging

Als Data Engineer werk je aan dataplatformen die er in de praktijk toe doen: bij NS aan data-oplossingen voor internationale treinreizen, bij Robeco aan moderne beleggingsplatformen, en bij EDSN en Stedin aan schaalbare data-ecosystemen in de energiesector. Je bouwt en onderhoudt data pipelines in de Cloud, ontwikkelt datatransformaties en datamodellen met SQL en Python, en werkt met tools als Snowflake, Databricks of Fabric en orchestration tools zoals Airflow, dbt of ADF. Je komt in dienst bij LINKIT en gaat aan het werk bij toonaangevende opdrachtgevers in mobiliteit, energie en financiële dienstverlening.

Je hebt een goede basis als Data Engineer en bent klaar voor de volgende stap: niet alleen bouwen, maar ook doorgronden waarom een platform zo is ingericht als het is. Je denkt mee met analytics-, BI- en data-science teams, en ziet feedback als brandstof voor groei.

Je plek: de Data Engineering squad

Je maakt onderdeel uit van de Data Engineering squad: vakinhoudelijke collega's die net als jij nieuwsgierig zijn naar het waarom achter elke oplossing. Kennis delen zit in het DNA van de squad, niet alleen tijdens projecten, maar ook op de clubdag, de tweewekelijkse vrijdag op ons hoofdkantoor in De Meern waarop we tijd vrijmaken voor leren en verbinden. Wat we vragen

  • 3+ jaar ervaring in een Data Engineer rol of vergelijkbare functie.
  • Een stevige basiskennis van SQL.
  • Ervaring met Python, Java of Scala als programmeertaal.
  • Kennis van of ervaring met distributed dataprocessing frameworks/datalakes zoals Spark, Flink, Delta Lake, Iceberg, etc.
  • Ervaring met een cloudplatform zoals Azure, AWS of GCP.
  • Leergierig, open voor feedback en gericht op inhoudelijke/technische groei.
  • Je communiceert goed in het Nederlands en spreekt vloeiend Engels.

Wat je krijgt

  • Salaris tussen €4.300-€5.700 per maand (o.b.v. 40 uur, afhankelijk van kennis & ervaring) + 8% vakantiegeld.
  • Jaarlijkse winstdeling en pensioenregeling (50% premie door ons betaald of extra salaris).
  • Hybride werken: op ons hoofdkantoor in De Meern, bij de klant of vanuit huis.
  • 25 vakantiedagen en de mogelijkheid om tijdelijk vanuit het buitenland te werken.

  • Netto thuiswerkvergoeding, een goed ingerichte thuiswerkplek en een laptop en telefoon, die je ook privé kunt gebruiken.
  • Om de twee weken op vrijdag komen alle collega's terug naar ons hoofdkantoor in De Meern, dan investeren wij tot 10% van jouw werktijd in kennisdeling, leren en verbinden (dit noemen wij de clubdag).
  • Extra's zoals onbeperkt opleidingsbudget, dagelijkse verse lunch, jaarlijks wintersport en wellbeing-activiteiten, zoals een wijnproeverij en yoga.
