Marketing Manager

Job Profile: Healthcare Technology Company

1. Position Details

Position Title: Marketing Manager

Reporting To: Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Employment Type: 2-month Contract with the possibility of permanent employment

2. Job Purpose

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the hands-on execution of the company's marketing strategy, turning strategic priorities into campaigns, content, creative assets, digital activity, events and measurable marketing outcomes.

This is an execution-focused role. The successful candidate will take work from brief through to completion, working across campaign planning, copywriting, content, design, digital marketing, email, events, conferences and reporting.

They should be able to understand the objective, work out what needs to happen and get it done, with minimal day-to-day supervision.

The role also requires someone who is comfortable using AI and modern marketing technology to accelerate production, while maintaining the company's brand and quality standards.

3. Reporting Structure

The Marketing Manager reports to the Chief Operations Officer.

The role works closely with Sales, Business Development, Product, Clinical, Education, Customer Success, Operations, Technology and external suppliers.

4. Key Performance Areas

4.1 Marketing Campaigns and Strategy Execution

  • Turn approved marketing strategy and priorities into practical campaigns and execution plans.
  • Take campaigns from brief through to completion, including timelines, channels, assets, approvals, launch and reporting.
  • Execute campaigns across email, social media, website, in-app and other relevant channels.

  • Support product, company and thought leadership messaging.
  • Ensure all content is accurate, professional, on brand and appropriate for the target audience.

4.2 Content and Communications

4.3 Creative and Design

A key requirement of this role is the ability to create marketing assets directly, rather than relying on an external designer for every requirement.

  • Design and produce flyers, brochures, one-pagers, presentations, digital adverts, social media assets, email graphics, banners and other collateral.
  • Create and adapt conference and event materials, including stand graphics, banners, posters, digital screens, handouts and QR code assets.
  • Develop sales and product collateral, company profiles, case studies, product sheets and presentations.
  • Maintain consistency across all creative output.
  • Work with external designers or agencies where specialist support is required.

Required working familiarity: Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud, with strong presentation design skills.

  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive marketing tasks.
  • Test and adopt new AI and marketing tools where they improve efficiency or output.
  • Apply appropriate human review and judgement to all AI-assisted work, particularly within a healthcare environment.

The expectation is not simply to know about AI. The expectation is to use it.

4.5 Digital Marketing, Email and Marketing Platforms

Work directly within the company's marketing technology stack, including:

  • HubSpot: campaigns, email activity, segmentation, lead generation, workflows, reporting and analytics.
  • Mailmodo: build, format, test and deploy email campaigns and newsletters, and monitor performance.
  • Canva and Adobe: create and adapt digital and print marketing assets.

The role also works with website and CMS platforms, social media, analytics and other digital marketing tools. The candidate should be comfortable learning new platforms and technologies quickly.

4.6 Website and Social Media

  • Maintain and update website content and landing pages.
  • Support website optimisation and campaign landing pages.
  • Plan, create, schedule and publish social media content.
  • Develop social copy and creative.
  • Monitor engagement and performance.
  • Repurpose campaign, product, event and thought leadership content across digital channels.

4.7 Events and Conferences

Take ownership of the marketing execution of conferences, exhibitions, partner events, webinars and other activations.

  • Develop event marketing plans, timelines and checklists.
  • Coordinate pre-event, on-site and post-event activity.
  • Manage event branding, collateral, promotional material and digital assets.
  • Coordinate printers, suppliers, venues and logistics.
  • Brief staff attending events and provide supporting material and talking points.
  • Coordinate lead capture and follow-up.
  • Develop post-event communications and report on outcomes.

The role needs to be comfortable with the practical side of events, from developing the campaign and designing the flyer to making sure the physical collateral arrives on time.

4.8 Product Marketing and Sales Enablement

  • Support product launches, feature announcements and go-to-market activity.
  • Translate product functionality into clear customer-facing messaging.
  • Develop product packs, one-pagers, presentations, FAQs and other collateral.
  • Develop and maintain sales decks, company profiles, case studies and proposal material.

  • Apply the company's brand guidelines consistently across all channels.
  • Maintain brand consistency across digital and physical marketing.
  • Manage templates and approved brand assets.
  • Make day-to-day creative decisions within the agreed brand strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve brand presentation and escalate significant brand or positioning decisions to the Marketing Director.
  • Manage the marketing calendar, project timelines and deliverables.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders, agencies, suppliers and other external resources.
  • Manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
  • Maintain organised marketing assets, templates and source files.
  • Support marketing SOPs and processes.
  • Proactively identify delays, gaps or risks and resolve or escalate them.
  • Ensure work is completed, approved, published and properly stored.
  • Conduct market, competitor and Healthcare Professional research.
  • Monitor relevant healthcare, technology and marketing trends.
  • Track campaign, email, website, social media and lead generation performance.

They can work out what needs to happen, develop the campaign, write the messaging, create the flyer in Canva, build the email in Mailmodo, set up the campaign in HubSpot, create social assets, coordinate the conference material and suppliers, brief the team, make sure everything is ready and then report on the results.

They don't need to do every specialist task personally. They do need to understand enough to make it happen, use the tools available to them and know when specialist support is actually required.

This is a hands-on, execution-led marketing role with room to grow. The right person will be ambitious, curious, commercially aware and, most importantly, someone who gets things done.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
