Job Description

The Analyst II/Senior Analyst, eCommerce Client Solutions is an analytically strong, client-facing individual contributor responsible for the day-to-day execution of a strategic retail eCommerce program. This role translates business goals into clear projects, coordinates work across internal teams and marketplace partners, turns reporting into recommendations, and keeps client stakeholders aligned on progress, risks, and results.

The position partners closely with a dedicated eCommerce Reporting & Analytics Specialist. The reporting specialist owns production, maintenance, reconciliation, and quality of the underlying data products. This role owns reporting requirements, business interpretation, client presentation, and action planning. Success is measured by client confidence, project delivery, speed of issue resolution, quality of recommendations, and improvement in sales, recovery, inventory velocity, customer experience, and marketplace performance.

Key Outcomes and Measures of Success

  • Build a trusted, proactive client relationship through clear communication, strong preparation, and reliable follow-through.
  • Deliver cross-functional initiatives on time, with documented owners, milestones, risks, decisions, and expected business impact.
  • Convert performance reporting into concise insights and recommendations that improve recovery, sales velocity, inventory health, and customer experience.
  • Identify and resolve operational or marketplace issues before they materially affect client objectives, seller performance, or revenue.
  • Create clear accountability between Client Solutions, reporting and analytics, operations, technology, finance, marketing, and marketplace teams.

Responsibilities

  • Leads day-to-day client and stakeholder engagement for assigned programs, including recurring business and project meetings, decision documentation, action-item ownership, and timely communication of progress, risks, and escalations.
  • Develops a strong understanding of client objectives, operating requirements, constraints, and success measures; uses this context to prioritize work, set realistic expectations, and deliver practical recommendations.
  • Translates client and business needs into scoped workplans, requirements, milestones, dependencies, and measurable outcomes; maintains project trackers, decision and risk logs, standard operating procedures, and implementation documentation.
  • Coordinates cross-functional initiatives with Client Solutions, reporting and analytics, marketplace operations, technology, warehouse operations, finance, marketing, compliance, leadership, and external partners; removes blockers, escalates decisions appropriately, and validates business results.
  • Defines reporting priorities, business rules, key performance indicators, and acceptance criteria in partnership with the Reporting & Analytics Specialist; reviews reporting for accuracy, completeness, relevance, and consistency before client presentation.
  • Analyzes and presents performance across sales, recovery, pricing, promotions, inventory availability and aging, listing quality, fulfillment, returns and refunds, and marketplace account health; identifies drivers, quantifies opportunities, recommends actions, and monitors results.
  • Coordinates pricing, promotion, catalog, inventory, channel expansion, and customer-experience initiatives across consumer marketplaces, addressing listing defects, policy and compliance risks, account-health concerns, brand-protection issues, and operational exceptions.
  • Supports the design, testing, launch, and measurement of tools, data flows, integrations, and process improvements; monitors marketplace policies, fees, capabilities, and industry developments and translates relevant changes into actionable program improvements.

  • Demonstrated experience presenting business performance, recommendations, and project updates to clients or senior internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with consumer marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Poshmark, or similar channels preferred.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
