Ready to Help Shape the Future of Legal Tech?!

At Litera, we don’t just build software, we transform how the world’s top law firms operate. Every day, we Raise The Bar™ for what’s possible through AI, innovation, and solutions that power millions of legal professionals worldwide. If you’re energized by scale, real impact, and meaningful challenges, you’ll feel right at home here.

Where You’ll Work

Hybrid: This is a hybrid role based in Denver, CO with the expectation to be in office at least 3 days a week for collaboration and connection.

Why this Role Matters

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll be the driving force behind the reliability, availability, and operational maturity of Litera’s production platform — directly impacting how millions of legal professionals experience our products every day. You’ll partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, and Customer Support to eliminate manual toil, accelerate incident resolution, and build the automation and observability that keep Litera’s services running at scale. This is a high-impact, engineering-driven role where your ability to build intelligent tooling, diagnose complex production issues, and leverage AI to improve operational workflows will shape how Litera scales its platform. If you’re energized by solving hard reliability problems and building the systems that make everything else work, this is your opportunity.

What You’ll Deliver

• Design and implement automation solutions that eliminate manual operational effort across production environments — from diagnostics and remediation to monitoring, deployment, and service management.

• Investigate and resolve complex production incidents across applications, infrastructure, and cloud services, driving root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions that improve system stability.

• Build and enhance observability across the platform — designing monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and telemetry solutions that give teams real-time insight into system health and performance.

• Leverage AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to build intelligent troubleshooting, diagnostics, and workflow automation that raise the bar on engineering efficiency.

• Support cloud-native architectures across AWS and Azure, integrating reliability tooling into CI/CD pipelines and operational workflows to improve deployment confidence and scalability.

• Deliver automated operational reporting and engineering metrics that drive data-informed decisions and create visibility into service health, reliability trends, and platform improvements.

Litera is committed to providing reasonable accommodations throughout the recruitment process. If you need an accommodation, please let us know and we’ll work with you to meet your needs.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

• 7+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or a related technical discipline.

• Strong software development skills in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or C#.

• Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving complex production issues in large-scale distributed systems and SaaS environments.

• Hands-on experience building automation tools, operational workflows, and engineering platforms.

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design, deployment automation, and cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure).

• Track record of conducting root cause analysis and implementing long-term remediation solutions that improve reliability.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, New Relic, Azure Monitor, or Amazon CloudWatch.

• Background supporting enterprise SaaS platforms in production and improving service reliability and operational maturity.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and intelligent automation frameworks.

• Experience with infrastructure automation and modern platform engineering practices.

Great candidates don’t check every box. If this role excites you but your experience doesn’t perfectly match every qualification, we encourage you to apply. You may be just the right person for this or another role at Litera.

What You’ll Experience

• A team that shows up. Work alongside people who collaborate, support one another, and lead with integrity.

• Global Reach. Partner with teams around the world to solve complex challenges that matter.

• Real opportunity for growth. Expand your impact through meaningful stretch opportunities, visibility and career development.

• AI-driven innovation. Work at the intersection of legal technology, customer outcomes, and cutting-edge AI.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
