As an Automotive Sales Representative at Acura of Thornhill, you’ll help customers find the right vehicle while creating a seamless, professional, and enjoyable buying experience. From the first conversation through vehicle delivery and beyond, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor and build lasting customer relationships.

What You’ll Do

  • Welcome customers in a friendly, professional, and engaging manner.
  • Understand each customer’s needs, preferences, lifestyle, and budget.
  • Recommend new and pre-owned vehicles that best meet customer needs.
  • Conduct vehicle walkarounds, demonstrations, and test drives.
  • Guide customers through the sales process from initial inquiry through vehicle delivery.
  • Follow up with leads, prospects, and previous customers to build lasting relationships.
  • Generate referral and repeat business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the dealership CRM.
  • Meet and exceed individual and dealership sales objectives.
  • Stay current on Acura vehicles, features, technology, incentives, and promotions.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor vehicles and automotive market trends.
  • Participate in ongoing product, sales, and professional development training.
  • Coordinate and conduct professional vehicle deliveries.
  • Review vehicle features, technology, warranties, and maintenance requirements with customers.
  • Introduce customers to the Service Department to support a positive long-term ownership experience.

What You Bring

  • Previous automotive sales experience is an asset.
  • 1–3 years of sales or customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organization and time-management abilities.
  • A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong sales skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
  • Valid OMVIC registration/licence.
