Elder Ford of Tampa is growing our Main Shop team, and we’re looking for experienced Ford Certified Technicians ready to take the next step in their careers.

Our shop is busy, the work is here, and we’re looking for technicians who know how to turn that opportunity into a career. We offer strong repair volume, competitive benefits, continued development, and earning potential of up to $300,000 annually for top performers.

Not currently with Ford? We also want to hear from experienced domestic dealership technicians. If you’ve worked with Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, Buick, Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, or RAM and have experience with diagnostics, electrical, warranty repairs, engines, transmissions, drivability, or heavy-line work, your experience could translate well to our team.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose and repair Ford vehicles
  • Perform engine, transmission, electrical, drivability, and mechanical repairs
  • Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs accurately and efficiently
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Follow Ford repair procedures and manufacturer specifications
  • Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and productivity
  • Communicate repair needs and findings clearly
  • Continue developing your technical skills and certifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous automotive dealership technician experience
  • Ford certification preferred
  • Experience with Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, Buick, Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, RAM, or other domestic brands
  • Experience in diagnostics, electrical repair, engine repair, transmission repair, heavy-line, or warranty work
  • ASE certifications preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Pride in the quality of your work
  • A desire to grow and advance as an automotive technician
