The Big Task

As the HVAC Field Install Supervisor, you will lead, coach, and support a team of residential HVAC installers while ensuring every installation meets Logan's standards for quality, safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You'll spend time in the field developing your team, resolving challenges, and partnering with leadership to continuously improve performance.

Key Sub Tasks

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Lead Installers, Install Assistants, and Apprentices through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Conduct ride-alongs and provide hands-on field support to ensure quality workmanship and continuous development.
  • Perform job audits, quality inspections, and installation reviews to maintain company standards.
  • Review sold jobs to ensure equipment, materials, permits, and contracts are accurate before installation begins.
  • Monitor team performance, productivity, and quality metrics while partnering with leadership to achieve department goals.
  • Resolve installation-related customer concerns professionally and promptly to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and all applicable local codes.
  • Partner with Operations, Sales, Customer Experience, and Warehouse teams to ensure installations are completed efficiently.
  • Serve as the department leader in the absence of the Installation Manager.

Desired Skills and Experience

We're looking for a confident leader who enjoys developing others, communicating effectively, and creating accountability through coaching and support. Successful candidates are organized, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional results while fostering a positive team culture.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous residential HVAC installation experience required.
  • Prior leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC installation practices, local codes, and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Comfortable using mobile technology and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
