Bring Your Pharmacy Experience Into a Patient-Focused Liaison Role!

Our Mission: Quality, compassionate care for all.

Our Vision: Reimagine health care through connection, service and innovation.

Our Core Values: Be Kind | Trust and Be Trusted | Work Together | Strive for Excellence.

Logan Health is searching for experienced pharmacy technicians to serve as liaisons supporting our specialty pharmacy services!

This important role goes beyond traditional pharmacy technician duties. Working within our specialty pharmacy or a supported cardiopulmonary or oncology clinic, you’ll serve as a trusted resource for patients, providers, and clinic staff, coordinate prior authorizations, and help patients access specialty medications and pharmacy services.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Coordinate specialty referrals: Receive, review, and process medication referrals, gather required documentation, and track progress to support timely prescription fulfillment and treatment initiation.
  • Guide patients through the process: Coordinate onboarding and help educate patients regarding specialty pharmacy services, prior authorizations,, medication fulfillment options, and available access to resources.
  • Support insurance approvals: Verify benefits, coordinate prior authorization submissions and renewals, and follow up on delays or denials. Assist with appeals and reconsideration requests under pharmacist direction.
  • Connect patients with financial support: Help identify assistance programs, complete applications, and monitor approvals and renewals to reduce financial barriers and prevent treatment interruptions.
  • Keep treatment moving: Coordinate refills, shipment scheduling, and prescription renewals. Conduct refill reminders and adherence outreach, escalating clinical concerns or treatment barriers to the pharmacist.
  • Build strong working relationships: Serve as a liaison among patients, providers, clinic staff, pharmacists, payers, and assistance programs to communicate updates and resolve medication access challenges.
  • Stay on top of the details: Maintain accurate referral, patient, prescription, and authorization records while protecting patient confidentiality and following pharmacy and regulatory requirements.
  • Help improve pharmacy operations: Contribute to workflow improvements, quality initiatives, and departmental goals that support timely access, medication adherence, and customer service.

Who you are:

  • Independent and proactive: You’re a self-starter who takes ownership, follows through, and works confidently without constant direction.
  • Organized and focused: You can manage competing priorities, keep track of details, and move multiple tasks forward.
  • Flexible and adaptable: You adjust to changing needs and feel comfortable working across pharmacy and clinic settings.
  • A confident communicator: You’re comfortable initiating conversations, asking questions, and working directly with providers, staff, and patients.
  • Comfortable promoting services: You can explain the value of our specialty pharmacy, address concerns thoughtfully, and encourage patients to use our services while respecting their choices.
  • Patient-focused and collaborative: You bring professionalism, empathy, and discretion to your interactions and work well with others to resolve challenges.
  • Comfortable with technology: You’re highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word and can quickly learn new software and find the information you need.
  • Experience in specialty pharmacy, cardiopulmonary, or oncology is a plus!

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
