MUST HAVE HOTEL/RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Human Resources Manager to support our hospitality operations in Pompano Beach, including Lola’s on the Water, Sands Harbor Resort & Marina, and Residence Inn Pompano Beach Oceanfront.

We’re looking for someone who understands that great hospitality starts with a great team. You should be approachable, confident, organized, and comfortable holding people accountable while helping managers solve problems quickly and professionally.

Lola's On The Water is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in Pompano Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will oversee all human resource activities and lead initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture, support business goals, and ensure compliance with employment laws. This role calls for a proactive and strategic mindset to manage recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
  • Oversee employee onboarding, training, and development programs to enhance workforce skills.
  • Maintain and update employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures.
  • Administer compensation, benefits, and performance management systems.
  • Promote a positive employee engagement culture and workplace environment.
  • Collaborate with management to support organizational growth and change initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
