Lou Fusz Kia of Columbus is looking for motivated, dependable, and team-oriented Quick Lube Technicians to join our Service team.
As a Quick Lube Technician, you'll play an important role in keeping our customers' vehicles safe, reliable, and performing at their best. You'll perform routine maintenance services, complete vehicle inspections, and work alongside experienced automotive professionals in a fast-paced dealership environment.

What You'll Do
As a Quick Lube Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance services, including oil and filter changes.
- Check and adjust tire pressures to manufacturer specifications.
- Inspect and top off vehicle fluids as needed.
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.
- Inspect tires, filters, belts, hoses, wiper blades, lights, and other maintenance-related components as required.
- Properly remove and install oil filters and drain plugs using appropriate procedures and specifications.
- Lubricate vehicle components and fittings when applicable.
- Rotate tires and perform other basic maintenance services as assigned.
- Communicate vehicle inspection results and maintenance needs to the appropriate Service team members.
- Help identify maintenance or repair concerns that may require additional inspection by a certified or experienced technician.
- Verify that all work has been completed correctly before returning the vehicle to the customer.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Properly use and care for dealership tools and equipment.
- Follow all dealership, manufacturer, environmental, and workplace safety procedures.
- Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
- Support fellow technicians, service advisors, and other team members when needed.
- Deliver an excellent customer experience by treating every customer's vehicle with care and respect.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to continually improve your automotive knowledge and technical skills.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- Have previous automotive maintenance, quick lube, tire, or dealership experience, preferred but not necessarily required.
- Have a genuine interest in automobiles and mechanical work.
- Be dependable and ready to work as part of a team.
- Have strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job correctly.
- Be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment.
- Have good communication and time-management skills.
- Possess basic computer skills and the ability to learn dealership and manufacturer systems.
- Be willing to learn new skills, accept coaching, and participate in training.
- Have a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
- Be able to safely operate customer and dealership vehicles.
- Be able to perform the physical requirements associated with automotive maintenance work, including standing, bending, reaching, and lifting automotive parts, tires, tools, and equipment.
