The posting

Join our Group Corporate Development and Integration Management team and play a key role in delivering LSEG’s inorganic growth strategy. As Senior Manager, Integration, you will lead complex integrations across the Group, partnering with senior business executives, functional leaders and acquired-company partners to deliver successful outcomes across LSEG’s strategic transactions.

We work across the full integration lifecycle, from defining the integration strategy and target operating model through to execution and value realisation. This includes bringing teams together around priorities, key decisions and managing dependencies, to ensure the intended commercial, operational and strategic objectives are achieved.

You will also help strengthen LSEG’s broader M&A integration capability by evolving the integration playbook, governance model and ways of working, while supporting the development of the team’s talent and capabilities.

The role also provides exposure to our wider Corporate Development work, including assessing potential M&A opportunities and supporting transaction execution.

Integration & Value Creation.

The Senior Manager will lead integration activity across complex transactions, working with business and functional teams to turn the deal thesis and objectives into clear priorities and plans.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Lead integration strategy, planning and execution through to value realisation.
  • Develop target operating models and integration plans, with clear ownership across teams.
  • Identify and track revenue and cost synergies with Finance and business teams.
  • Monitor delivery against the business case and KPIs, and address emerging risks or variances.
  • Provide senior leaders with clear updates on progress, value realisation and decisions required.

Integration Management

The role will lead the Integration Management Office, bringing together teams from across the business and acquired companies. We want governance to support good decisions and delivery, rather than create unnecessary process.

Key activities include:

  • Oversee integration plans, budgets, risks, dependencies and key decisions.
  • Coordinate activity across business and corporate functions.
  • Lead workshops, steering committee meetings and decision sessions.
  • Resolve cross-functional issues and provide practical recommendations where decisions are needed.
  • Manage external advisers, including scope, quality and costs.

Change &, Communication

Successful integrations depend on bringing people with us. We work closely with business leaders, People, Communications and acquired-company teams to support organisational change and cultural integration.

The role will also:

  • Support communication and change activity throughout an integration.
  • Build strong relationships across LSEG and acquired businesses to help teams work through competing priorities.

Team & Integration Capability

We continue to develop our approach to integration, using experience from each transaction to improve how we work.

  • Mentor and support colleagues working on integration programmes.
  • Help plan internal and external resources across transactions.
  • Develop our integration playbook, tools and approaches based on lessons from previous deals.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for substantial experience leading complex M&A integrations, ideally within financial services, technology or another regulated industry.

This should include:

  • Experience across integration strategy, operating models, planning, execution, synergies and value realisation.
  • Strong commercial judgement with experience interpreting business cases, financial models, budgets and performance measures.
  • Experience leading cross-functional and global teams and working with senior business leaders.
  • Experience with acquisitions and divestitures, external advisers and senior governance forums.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to turn complex information into practical recommendations.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills for financial analysis and senior-level reporting.

A combination of corporate and advisory experience would be useful. A degree or equivalent professional experience is expected, while an MBA, Master’s degree, PMP or similar qualification would be beneficial.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
