Job Summary

Develop detailed architectural/interior drawings and 3D BIM models to support project delivery, ensuring compliance with regulations and coordination across disciplines in a dynamic design environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed working drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details for Authorities' submissions and tender documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
  • Translate conceptual design sketches into precise technical drawings to support project development
  • Ensure all working drawings comply with Authorities' requirements, building codes, and safety regulations to facilitate approvals
  • Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines to ensure design integration
  • Verify dimensions, specifications, and drawing accuracy; update drawings progressively and maintain organized project documentation from concept through as-built stages
  • Communicate effectively with project teams to resolve design and coordination issues promptly

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or certificate in Architecture or Architectural Technology
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM and SketchUp is advantageous
  • Understanding of construction methods, building materials, finishes, building services, and architectural/interior detailing
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
  • Experience in drafting architectural projects is preferred
  • Familiarity with Authorities' requirements, building codes, safety regulations, and submission processes is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
  • Good communication and coordination abilities
