About Lucid

At Lucid, we are creating exceptional mobility experiences through innovation to drive the world forward. Built on Lucid’s proprietary technology and software-defined vehicle architecture, our award-winning vehicles bring our “Compromise Nothing™” approach to the global automotive market. That means refusing to choose between performance and sustainability, design and engineering, ambition and integrity. In Lucid Air and Lucid Gravity, we have designed and built vehicles that have redefined their segments, combining exceptional range, performance, design, and expansive space in a single experience.

We achieve this through deep vertical integration, with design, engineering, and production happening in-house across our global offices and manufacturing facilities. Our teams come from industries around the world, united by a shared commitment to excellence. By refusing to settle, you can help redefine what’s possible and shape the future of mobility.

The LV Test and Validation team verifies the reliability, electrical performance, and compliance of low-voltage vehicle electronics. The team works with LVEE hardware design engineers and internal and external laboratories to produce decision-ready validation evidence. Its work spans component testing, test automation, failure investigation, and laboratory operations.

Role:

As a Sr. EMC Test Engineer, you will deliver automotive EMC/EMI validation and compliance evidence for vehicle electronics. Reporting to the Low-Voltage Test and Validation manager, you will work closely with design engineers and laboratory partners to complete DVP commitments on time. You will combine hands-on execution with disciplined analysis, documentation, and issue closure. Success in the first year means repeatable tests, complete evidence, and timely resolution of issues affecting current and future vehicle programs.

  • EMC Validation: Test and validate Lucid electronic modules against automotive EMI and EMC requirements.
  • Design Collaboration: Partner with design engineers during pre-DV, DV and PV EMC testing and provide actionable ECU EMC design recommendations based on schematic and PCB layout review.
  • Test Planning: Develop component-level EMC plans, procedures, requirements, and EMC test setups with cross-functional engineering partners.
  • Laboratory Execution: Plan, schedule, and conduct testing in internal and external laboratories to support DVP commitments.
  • Compliance Evidence: Evaluate EMC test data and reports, interpret applicable standards, and communicate compliance results, corrective-action needs and EMC risk assessments.
  • Laboratory Capability: Support selection, procurement, setup, and calibration of EMC-related equipment and maintain controlled documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of EMC testing experience; automotive experience is a plus.
  • Extensive experience with LISNs, antennas, spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, oscilloscopes, amplifiers, and related EMC laboratory equipment.
  • Familiarity with FCC/CISPR emission and immunity test environments and understanding of FCC Parts 15, CISPR 25, ISO 11452 series, ISO 7637 series, ISO 10605, international regulations such as UNECE Reg 10, and automotive OEM-specific standards.
  • Experience evaluating EMC test data and reports and interpreting standards and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Confluence and JIRA, excellent technical and non-technical communication, and an ownership-oriented approach to collaborative engineering.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience taking an automotive product from concept to final PPAP.
  • Experience with TILE EMC test SW

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
