Production Associate

THE LUMBER MANUFACTORY (TLM) IS BUILDING THE FUTURE OF SUSTAINABLE LUMBER WITH NEXT-GENERATION SAWMILL TECHNOLOGY. WE DESIGN AND OPERATE STATE-OF-THE-ART MODULAR SAWMILLS THAT PRODUCE HIGH-GRADE DIMENSIONAL WOOD PRODUCTS WITH GREATER EFFICIENCY AND LESS WASTE. We're hiring Production Team Members at our sawmill in New Albany. You'll keep lumber moving through the mill, learn the equipment, and work alongside a crew that takes safety seriously. No sawmill experience needed; we'll train you.

What you'll do

- Move, sort, and stack lumber between conveyors, machines, and work areas

- Load and unload logs and finished lumber

- Run equipment you've been trained and certified on, including forklifts and conveyors

- Spot quality issues and equipment problems and flag them to your supervisor

- Keep your area clean, organized, and safe

What we're looking for

- Comfortable with physical work: standing, lifting, and moving materials through a full shift

- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to the mill

- Follows safety rules and instructions, and speaks up when something looks wrong

- Works well as part of a crew

- Able to pass a background check

Schedule and pay: Full-time. Multiple shifts available, including days. We'll talk through what works for you during your interview. Starting pay $14+/hr. Training and forklift certification provided.

Location: On site at our mill in New Albany, Mississippi.
