See your work in a new light.
At LUX Infusion, we’re reimagining infusion care to be more human, supportive, and connected. Inspired by lux—meaning light - we guide patients, providers, and partners through complex therapies with clarity, compassion, and confidence.
As a clinician-led, U.S.-based organization, we put people first - helping patients feel seen and supported through faster therapy starts, dedicated care coordination, and meaningful collaboration. Our commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity, and advancement (IDEA) is central to our culture, ensuring every team member feels valued and empowered to make a difference.
See your work in a new light.
At LUX Infusion, we lead with compassion and clarity - helping patients feel confident in moments that matter, while giving providers and partners the trust and insight they need to deliver better outcomes.
We’re looking for a Learning & Development Partner - Pharmacy who wants their work to mean something - someone who brings care, accountability, and purpose to what they do every day.
Why This Role Matters
This role plays an important part in helping LUX Infusion deliver a patient‑first experience - whether that impact is directly with patients or behind the scenes supporting care delivery.
In this role, you’ll contribute to work that:
- Helps patients feel seen, supported, and informed
- Supports clinicians and partners through clarity, reliability, and trust
- Moves work forward in a growing, clinician‑led organization focused on better outcomes
Everything we do connects back to real people navigating complex healthcare journeys - and this role helps make that journey brighter.
What You’ll Do
The Learning & Development Partner – Pharmacy partners with Pharmacy leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and deliver effective learning solutions for employees across Pharmacy functions. This role owns the development and continuous improvement of structured onboarding, role-based learning, workflow education, and performance-support resources for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy support staff, and pharmacy leaders. The role also partners with Pharmacy leadership to support competency-based learning and role-specific development for Pharmacists-in-Charge and other Pharmacy leaders. The Partner develops and maintains a strong working knowledge of Pharmacy roles, systems, acute and chronic workflows, clinical practices, regulatory requirements, and performance expectations while actively designing, developing, facilitating, and evaluating learning solutions. This role translates complex clinical, operational, and system processes into clear, practical learning experiences that promote consistent practices and prepare employees to perform accurately, confidently, and independently. Clinical content, competencies, and practice standards are defined and validated in partnership with designated Pharmacy leaders and subject matter experts.
What We’re Looking For
You may be a great fit if you bring:
- Deep care about the human impact of your work
- Clear communication and effective collaboration skills
- Strong ownership and accountability for your responsibilities
- Comfort learning, adapting, and growing in a dynamic environment
- A desire to be part of a team that values empathy and high standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, learning and development, healthcare, pharmacy, or a related field; equivalent relevant education and experience may be considered.
- Five or more years of experience in learning and development, clinical or operational education, instructional design, pharmacy operations, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and facilitating operational, clinical, technical, or systems-based learning for adult learners.
- Experience developing structured onboarding, assessments or competency-based learning, and performance-support resources.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in specialty pharmacy, home infusion, acute or chronic infusion services, or another complex healthcare environment.
- Experience supporting the learning needs of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy support staff, or pharmacy leaders.
- Experience using a learning management system and e-learning authoring or content-development tools.
- Current or previous pharmacy technician certification, pharmacist licensure, or another relevant pharmacy credential.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of Pharmacy roles, systems, acute and chronic workflows, policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, competencies, and performance expectations.
- Partner with Pharmacy leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify learning needs, establish priorities, clarify expectations, and validate clinical and operational content.
- Design, develop, facilitate, and continuously improve structured onboarding, role-based learning, competency development, refresher training, cross-training, and workflow-change education for Pharmacy employees and leaders.
- Develop and maintain learning paths that guide employees from foundational education through hands-on practice, competency validation, and independent job performance.
- Deliver instructor-led, virtual, blended, hands-on, and self-paced learning related to Pharmacy systems, workflows, clinical practices, therapies, and role-specific responsibilities.
- Translate complex clinical and operational information into practical learning resources, including facilitator guides, learner materials, case-based activities, job aids, assessments, competency tools, and digital learning content.
- Partner with Pharmacy leadership to develop and maintain standardized competency-assessment methods; assess learner understanding and readiness, provide feedback, and communicate progress and support needs to appropriate leaders.
- Develop and continuously improve onboarding and development programs for Pharmacists-in-Charge and other Pharmacy leaders, including operational responsibilities, compliance requirements, reporting, escalations, and cross-functional partnerships.
- Maintain accurate, current, standardized, and clinically validated learning materials by monitoring relevant workflow, system, policy, procedural, and regulatory changes.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness using assessment results, competency findings, learner feedback, stakeholder input, and available performance data; recommend and implement appropriate improvements.
- Support consistency across Pharmacy locations by identifying and communicating gaps among policies, procedures, training materials, and day-to-day workflows.
- Maintain curricula, training assignments, completion records, assessments, competencies, and related documentation in the learning management system and other designated platforms.
- Manage assigned learning projects, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications while supporting cross-functional education and other learning initiatives as assigned.
- Perform other duties and support additional learning initiatives as assigned.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and the ability to learn and effectively use company systems and technology required for the role.
- Experience using learning management systems, virtual facilitation platforms, and e-learning authoring or content-development tools. Strong knowledge of adult-learning principles, instructional-design practices, facilitation techniques, competency-based education, and methods for evaluating learning effectiveness. Ability to learn and maintain working knowledge of complex Pharmacy roles, systems, clinical and operational workflows, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Demonstrated ability to design, develop, facilitate, and evaluate instructor-led, virtual, blended, hands-on, and self-paced learning experiences. Ability to translate complex clinical, technical, and operational information into clear, accurate, and practical learning and performance-support resources. Strong facilitation and presentation skills, including the ability to engage learners, guide case-based discussions, respond effectively to questions, provide constructive feedback, and adapt instruction based on learner needs. Strong partnership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Pharmacy leaders, subject matter experts, learners, and cross-functional stakeholders while maintaining appropriate L&D and clinical-content accountabilities. Ability to assess learner understanding, competency, and readiness and communicate progress, concerns, and support needs clearly and professionally. Strong organizational and project-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing operational needs. Ability to analyze learner feedback, assessment results, competency findings, stakeholder input, and available performance data to identify gaps and improve learning solutions. Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, including the ability to distinguish learning needs from workflow, process, system, communication, staffing, or performance-management concerns. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate, current, standardized, and clinically validated learning materials and records. Ability to work independently within assigned responsibilities while maintaining appropriate communication, collaboration, and alignment with L&D and Pharmacy leadership. Communication Skills Communicates clearly and professionally in individual, group, classroom, and virtual settings.
