The Structural Composites (SC) Unit at LIST is looking for a passionate research engineer for an 18-month contract.You will be working at the forefront of novel hybrid lightweighting design, manufacture and testing of adhesively bonded hybrid composite-to-metal structures. In the framework of a project funded by the European Defence Agency (EDA), we are looking for a research engineer/scientist with a strong background in manufacturing and testing of composite structures and adhesively bonded joints.You will be mainly in charge of:· Exchanging with stakeholders within the project· Conducting a state-of-the-art review of hybrid composite-to-metal structures for lightweighting· Designing, manufacturing and testing of composite structures and adhesively bonded joints· Supervising the manufacture and testing with partners of sub-scale and/or full-scale components· Disseminating the outcomes of your work (papers, conferences, …) Is Your profile described below?
