Job Description

The Education Manager is responsible for bringing Dior’s House of Dreams to life across the Southwest/Los Angeles market through elevated education, luxury service excellence, and inspiring brand storytelling. This role drives Dior retail education strategy and execution across fragrance, makeup, and skincare to strengthen brand desirability, elevate client experience, and support business performance across a diverse retail landscape.

As a brand ambassador and training expert of the maison, the Education Manager empowers retail teams to deliver exceptional Dior service standards in every client interaction. Through impactful education, compelling storytelling, and effective field coaching, this role translates the House’s heritage, product knowledge, and service expertise into meaningful client engagement and retail productivity.

Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director, this role also receives strategic direction and support from the New York corporate retail development team. The Education Manager collaborates closely with Sales, Account Executives, the Regional Sales Director, and cross-functional partners to identify development opportunities and deliver targeted training solutions that meet and exceed business goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION & DEVELOPMENT

  • Lead the execution of Dior retail education across fragrance, makeup, and skincare for the Southwest/Los Angeles territory.
  • Deliver engaging and impactful classroom, virtual, and in-store training focused on Dior savoir-faire, hospitality, service, and selling.
  • Bring Dior’s heritage, creativity, and product innovation to life, enabling teams to authentically communicate the values and storytelling of Dior with every client.
  • Maintain exceptional expertise across the Dior fragrance and beauty portfolio and serve as a trusted resource for retail partners and field teams.
  • Drive excitement through education to support Dior fragrance and beauty launches and key retail initiatives.
  • Conduct onboarding training and continued development for beauty consultants and retail partners to ensure consistent Dior standards across the territory.
  • Support education across multiple retail channels, including Dior Beauty Boutiques, department stores, and specialty-multi retailers such as Sephora and Ulta, adapting approach to each business model and client journey.

FIELD COACHING & CLIENT EXPERIENCE

  • Create focused coaching strategies to elevate client experience according to Dior service standards and develop field teams through ongoing feedback that fosters confidence and performance.
  • Empower beauty consultants to ensure every client interaction embodies the brand’s luxury positioning.
  • Serve as a role model for Dior presentation, selling, service, and client engagement standards.
  • Adapt coaching methods and field support to the needs of varied retail environments, ensuring excellence and consistency across all points of sale.

BUSINESS & PERFORMANCE

  • Partner closely with Account Executives and the Regional Sales Director to identify business opportunities and align education plans with business objectives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training and field coaching, identify gaps, and adapt education plans accordingly.
  • Share field insights and best practices with regional leadership, the New York corporate retail development team, corporate education teams, and cross-functional partners to support continuous improvement.
  • Monitor competitive activity, category trends, innovation, and evolving client behaviors to provide relevant insights and strengthen Dior’s position at retail.
  • Demonstrate agility in adjusting priorities, training focus, and execution in response to shifting retail trends, business needs, and corporate direction.

PARTNERSHIP & COLLABORATION

  • Serve as the territory’s education leader, aligning field performance and development needs with business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and accountability while inspiring teams to embody Dior values.
  • Empower beauty consultants and retail partners to maintain consistent brand standards across the territory.
  • Act as a key liaison between regional leadership and the New York corporate retail development team to ensure alignment between local market execution and broader strategic priorities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of training experience in luxury retail fragrance and beauty.
  • Strong understanding of luxury retail and client experience.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to develop talent and coach teams to increase performance.
  • Highly organized with strong planning, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining close collaboration with regional and corporate partners.
  • Experience supporting or working across multiple retail channels, including department stores and specialty-multi retailers, preferred.

LVMH Inc. uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance, and tenure.

While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published range of $90,000-115,000.
