The posting

At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. We aim to achieve this by cultivating a work environment where all team members belong and have the opportunity to thrive.

The SupplyPlatform team develops robust architectural platforms and foundational features to empower Lyft’s global growth. We are seeking a highly motivated software engineering professional to advance the platform infrastructure supporting autonomous vehicles, premium offerings, taxi integration, and international expansion. Ownership is a key quality for this team; this person should be driven to track a project to successful completion and beyond, taking initiative to work with other teams and functions to ensure the code they write reaches users and drives impact.

As a Software Engineer for SupplyPlatform team, you’ll be responsible for enhancing the platform to support partner teams, making tradeoffs between technical investments and product work, and collaborating with other engineers on system design. You will work with a group of talented engineers and help the team to deliver significant business impact. If you enjoy collaborating with technical and nontechnical partners in a fast-moving space with real-world impact, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Help establish roadmap and architecture based on technology and understanding of customer needs
  • Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code
  • Can help lead large projects from idea to positive execution
  • Unblock, support and communicate with external and internal partners to achieve results
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
  • Share your knowledge by giving brown bags, tech talks, and promoting appropriate tech and engineering best practices

Experience:

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience with high-level programming languages; experience with Python and Go is a plus.
  • BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong background in distributed systems, and proficient in relational or NoSQL databases.
  • Proven experience in designing, debugging, and managing fault-tolerant, highly available, large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience working with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
  • Nice to have: proficiency in AI toolings (Claude code, Cursor, etc).

Please submit your resume in English.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
