Notre client est un manufacturier nord-américain en forte croissance, spécialisé dans le développement et la fabrication de solutions aérodynamiques et de systèmes auxiliaires électriques (eAPU) pour le secteur des véhicules commerciaux et du transport. Sommaire du poste Le/la VP Ingénierie aura la responsabilité de structurer, faire croître et diriger l’équipe d’ingénierie couvrant les divisions Aero et eAPU, tout en accélérant l’innovation produit, la fiabilité, l’industrialisation et la rapidité de mise en marché. Vous jouerez un rôle clé dans : La mise en place d’une équipe technique de haut niveau. L’orchestration du cycle complet de développement produit, du concept jusqu’à la production. L’alignement des priorités d’ingénierie avec le plan stratégique et de croissance de l’entreprise. Responsabilités principales 1. Leadership & développement organisationnel Bâtir, développer et coacher une équipe multidisciplinaire (mécanique, électrique, logiciel/contrôle, batterie pour eAPU). Instaurer une culture de performance avec des KPI clairs, responsabilisation et plans de développement de carrière. Assurer une forte cohésion avec les équipes Opérations, Qualité, Ventes et Composites. 2. Excellence technique & développement de produits Prendre en charge le cycle de développement complet: concept → validation → certification → production. Mettre en place et suivre les standards d’ingénierie : DFX, DFA, fiabilité, optimisation des coûts. Diriger les choix d’architecture pour les prochaines générations de produits eAPU et Aero. Superviser les programmes d’essais et de validation (internes et laboratoires externes). 3. Gestion de projets & portefeuille Prioriser les feuilles de route d’ingénierie selon le ROI, les besoins clients et le plan stratégique. Déployer une méthodologie structurée de type stage-gate / EOS. Assurer la préparation des lancements avec Opérations et Qualité (NPI, readiness, transfert vers la production). 4. Collaboration interfonctionnelle Travailler étroitement avec les Opérations et les équipes Composites pour la fabricabilité, les outillages et l’industrialisation. Collaborer avec Ventes & Marketing pour définir les requis clients et les spécifications produits. Aligner les besoins techniques avec la chaîne d’approvisionnement pour les composants critiques. 5. Contribution stratégique Traduire les objectifs stratégiques de l’entreprise. Évaluer les stratégies pour les technologies clés. Profil recherché Formation & expérience technique Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en génie mécanique, électrique, mécatronique ou autre domaine pertinent. Environ 10 à 20+ années d’expérience en ingénierie, dont au moins 5 ans en leadership. Expérience dans un ou plusieurs des secteurs suivants : Automobile ou véhicules commerciaux (Tier-1, OEM, systèmes auxiliaires). Systèmes EV, stockage d’énergie, systèmes électriques de puissance. Équipements industriels/transport.
