Wil jij werken op het kruispunt van data, cloud technologie en operationele processen?

Voor een wereldspeler in havenlogistiek zoek ik een Data Platform Engineer (Azure) die wil meebouwen aan de verdere ontwikkeling van het data- en analyticsplatform van onze klant.

Als Data Platform Engineer speel je een belangrijke rol in het verbinden van operationele systemen, cloudtechnologie en bedrijfsinzichten. Je helpt bouwen aan een toekomstbestendig dataplatform dat rechtstreeks bijdraagt aan de optimalisatie van strategische besluitvorming.

Je staat in voor het ontwerpen, ontwikkelen en onderhouden van schaalbare data pipelines en integraties tussen de bestaande operationele systemen en het nieuwe Microsoft Azure Data & Analytics-platform. Daarbij werk je onder andere met Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage en SQL Server. Je waakt over de kwaliteit, betrouwbaarheid en performantie van de data en zorgt ervoor dat governance, documentatie en datastandaarden correct worden toegepast.

Een toonaangevende logistieke omgeving die volop inzet op digitalisering en innovatie. Je komt terecht in een context waar operationele complexiteit en moderne cloudtechnologie samenkomen.

Je werkt nauw samen met data-analisten, business stakeholders en applicatieteams om datagedreven oplossingen te realiseren. Je krijgt de kans om mee richting te geven aan de architectuur en verdere uitbouw van het dataplatform

Profiel

  • Je hebt een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Informatica, Management Information Systems of gelijkwaardig door relevante werkervaring
  • Je hebt minstens 3 jaar ervaring in data-integratie en datamodellering
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van SQL, databaseontwerp en query-optimalisatie
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur ervaring met Microsoft Azure-diensten zoals Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage en Azure SQL
  • Je hebt kennis van ETL/ELT-processen, datawarehousemethodologieën en integratiepatronen zoals API's en event-driven architecturen
  • Ervaring met Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, datagovernance en monitoring is een pluspunt
  • Kennis van Python, Bicep of vergelijkbare scripting- en automatiseringstechnologieën is mooi meegenomen
  • Je bent analytisch, proactief en sterk in probleemoplossing. Je denkt mee over verbeteringen en houdt ervan om technische uitdagingen structureel aan te pakken
  • Je werkt gestructureerd, documenteert je oplossingen zorgvuldig en kan vlot schakelen tussen verschillende projecten en stakeholders
  • Je spreekt en schrijft uitstekend Nederlands en Engels
