JUNIOR ELEVATOR MAINTENANCE SERVICE TECHNICIAN Responsibilities Assist senior technicians with the maintenance and repair of elevators and escalators. Perform routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment of elevator components. Support troubleshooting of basic electrical and mechanical faults. Check doors, buttons, indicators, switches, safety devices, and operating systems. Assist in replacing defective components, cables, switches, and other parts. Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts in proper working condition. Complete maintenance checklists and report identified faults to the senior technician. Follow safety procedures, technical instructions, and manufacturer guidelines. Attend breakdown calls and emergency maintenance activities with the service team. Maintain cleanliness and safety in machine rooms, shafts, pits, and work areas. Requirements Requirements Diploma or ITI qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related technical field. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in elevator or escalator maintenance. Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, mechanical components, control systems, and safety devices. Ability to use hand tools, testing instruments, and maintenance equipment. Ability to understand basic electrical drawings and technical instructions. Willingness to learn and work under the supervision of senior technicians. Physically fit and comfortable working in elevator shafts, pits, and machine rooms. Good teamwork, discipline, and communication skills. GCC or Qatar experience is preferred. Immediate availability with a valid QID is preferred.
