Maersk H2S Safety Services is seeking a Contract Manager & Technical Sales Specialist to support our global commercial activities.

The role combines contract management, tender execution, and technical sales support, helping drive opportunities from initial inquiry through contract award and ongoing customer engagement.

Working closely with sales, operations, and technical teams, you will manage commercial risks, prepare competitive proposals, and develop customer-focused solutions for clients operating in demanding industrial environments.

You will join a dynamic international team and play a key role in securing new business, supporting customers, and managing commercial agreements. The position offers significant exposure to customers worldwide and the opportunity to influence both commercial strategy and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and review of customer and supplier contracts.
  • Identify and manage contractual, commercial, and operational risks.
  • Coordinate and prepare tender submissions, commercial proposals, and pricing models.
  • Work with technical and operational teams to develop customer-focused solutions.
  • Support customer meetings, contract negotiations, and bid clarification sessions.
  • Maintain contract records and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Build strong customer relationships and support business development activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve commercial processes and win rates

Who we are looking for

You have experience from commercial roles, preferably within the oil & gas industry, and are comfortable dealing directly with customers and other stakeholders. We’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, takes ownership, and is willing to take responsibility.

  • Experience from commercial roles
  • Background in safety services, oil & gas, maritime, or similar sectors
  • Clear and confident stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Structured, pragmatic, and results-oriented approach to your work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 20 days per year)
  • Fluent in English

Work location: Esbjerg, Denmark.
