Key Responsibilities

· Execute sourcing initiatives covering facility management services, operational supplies and consumables, and related facility requirements.

· Lead and conduct spend, demand and supplier analysis to identify sourcing, consolidation and standardization opportunities.

· Develop category-specific go-to-market and sourcing strategies based on business requirements, supplier capabilities, market dynamics and commercial opportunities.

· Lead RFQ/RFP processes, including supplier engagement, bid analysis, commercial evaluation, negotiations, recommendations and award implementation.

· Develop and apply TCO and should-cost models to improve commercial decision-making and optimize lifecycle economics beyond initial purchase price.

· Develop and maintain external benchmarks for key cost drivers, rates, equipment and services to support negotiations and drive cost leadership.

· Monitor relevant market trends, supplier developments, capacity, inflationary factors and technology developments and translate insights into sourcing actions.

· Support contract development and negotiation in collaboration with Legal and relevant stakeholders.

· Deliver measurable cost savings, cost avoidance and other value improvements while balancing service, quality, operational requirements and risk.

Rate Management & Commercial Implementation

· Own the implementation and ongoing maintenance of negotiated supplier rates, pricing conditions and commercial agreements within applicable procurement systems.

· Ensure sourcing awards are effectively translated into contracts, purchase orders, catalogues, rate structures and approved buying channels.

· Monitor commercial conditions and identify missing, incorrect or outdated rates, coordinating corrective actions with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

· Resolve Procurement-owned pricing and commercial discrepancies, including price mismatches affecting the three-way-match and payment process.

· Establish effective mechanisms to maintain visibility of pricing, rate validity, contract coverage and commercial performance.

Vendor Onboarding, Compliance & Enablement

· Coordinate supplier onboarding and implementation across Procurement, Operations, Finance, Accounts Payable, Vendor Master Data Management and other process owners.

· Ensure awarded suppliers are properly enabled through appropriate purchasing channels, including catalogues, punchouts, framework purchasing and PO-based processes.

· Manage sourcing and procurement documentation to ensure appropriate governance, audit readiness and traceability.

· Drive contract compliance and adoption of negotiated suppliers, rates, terms and purchasing channels.

· Support supplier adoption of the Supplier Code of Conduct and sustainable procurement requirements applicable to the categories in scope.

· Promote supplier consolidation and standardization where this improves cost, compliance, operational performance or scalability.

Demand-to-Delivery & Procure-to-Pay Enablement

· Lead Procurement execution activities across the Demand-to-Delivery lifecycle, ensuring business demand is translated into the appropriate commercial and purchasing solution.

· Partner with Operations, Finance, Accounts Payable and other stakeholders to continuously improve the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay process, from demand creation through purchasing, receipt, invoicing and payment.

· Determine and deploy the most effective purchasing route based on demand characteristics, including catalogue, qualified free-text PR, framework purchasing, system-generated PO and sourcing-supported purchasing.

· Support the transition of applicable spend from invoice-based purchasing to structured PO-based procurement channels.

· Identify root causes of recurring purchasing, pricing and payment issues and coordinate corrective actions across relevant stakeholders.

· Support improved Payment on Time (POT) by addressing procurement-related causes of invoice and payment delays.

Digitalization, AI & Continuous Improvement

· Champion the adoption of digital procurement solutions, automation and AI-enabled capabilities across Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay activities.

· Identify and implement opportunities to automate repetitive activities including sourcing intake, quotation comparison, rate maintenance, catalogue management, transaction monitoring and exception management.

· Leverage procurement and transaction data to identify opportunities, exceptions, leakage and process bottlenecks.

· Increase adoption of digital buying channels and reduce unnecessary manual transactions and interventions.

· Partner with technology, process owners and Super Users to improve NFTP/SAP S/4HANA workflows and other procurement solutions.

· Develop scalable processes, templates, dashboards and ways of working that can be consistently deployed across NA.

· Track productivity improvements resulting from automation, digital adoption and process simplification.

· Support testing, implementation and continuous improvement of new procurement technologies and AI-enabled solutions.

Performance Management & Other Responsibilities

· Maintain clear sourcing and execution pipelines covering opportunities, supplier onboarding, commercial implementation, rate readiness, contracts, value delivery and key dependencies.

· Establish relevant category and supplier performance indicators and provide transparent reporting to Procurement and business stakeholders.

· Maintain effective cross-functional relationships with Operations, Finance, Accounts Payable, Legal, Product, Technology and other stakeholders.

· Escalate material commercial, supplier or process risks with a clear impact assessment and recommended action.

· Support broader NAM Procurement priorities, transformation initiatives and category projects as required.

Key Requirements

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
