The posting

Join the team at Mills Auto Group as a Parts Manager in NC. This role is integral to ensuring the seamless operation of our parts department, managing inventory, and providing excellent service to both internal teams and customers. The Parts Manager will oversee daily parts operations, maintain strong supplier relationships, and lead a motivated team to meet the dealership’s goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the parts inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and availability.
  • Supervise and coach parts staff to deliver exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with service and sales departments to meet parts needs and support vehicle repair and sales processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parts suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing and terms.
  • Oversee ordering, receiving, and stocking of parts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor parts department performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in parts management or a related automotive parts role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and inventory management abilities.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with dealership management systems and parts ordering software is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
