The posting

Magnax builds next-generation electric motors based on yokeless axial flux technology. They are compact, light and efficient, which makes them a strong match for robotics. We're a team of about 30 people in Kortrijk, mostly engineers from many countries. We work in English and move fast from idea to prototype.

As Applications Engineer, you are the technical link between our customers, the market and our R&D team.

What you'll do

  • Act as first technical contact for customer inquiries and find out what they really need.
  • Translate customer specs (RFIs/RFQs) into motor requirements with R&D, and select the right motor solution.
  • Build proposals, including pricing, and follow up until the project is won.
  • Track the robotics market and identify where axial flux motors bring the most value.
  • Report insights to management to guide product and commercial choices.
  • Support datasheets and sales tools, share customer feedback with R&D, and join customer visits and trade fairs. For a more detailed description of the job requirements, please visit our careers page: www.traxial.com/careers

Who we’re looking for

  • Master’s in electromechanical, electrical, mechanical or mechatronics engineering
  • At least 2 years in robotics (actuators, cobots, industrial robots, humanoids, AMRs)
  • Solid knowledge of electric drive systems: motors, gearboxes, controllers
  • Strong with customers: you ask the right questions and write clear proposals
  • Analytical: you turn market information into actionable insights
  • Independent, with ownership of technical solutions
  • Fluent English; other languages are a plus
  • Open to occasional travel

You report to the Belgian management team.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
