The posting

Magnax is looking for an experienced Electromagnetic Simulations Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll own the electromagnetic simulations of our axial flux motors and inverters.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and run electromagnetic simulations for our motors and inverters
  • Analyse results to assess performance and spot improvements
  • Refine simulation methods to shorten development time and improve correlation with test data
  • Work with simulation, mechanical and prototyping engineers to optimise motor design

  • Master’s in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on electromagnetic simulation experience
  • Proficient in Ansys Maxwell, JMAG, Altair (or similar) and Python
  • Basic knowledge of mechanics, NVH and thermodynamics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent English and a collaborative team player
