The posting

Grounded in a talent-centric mindset, Maker Lab is a marketing agency designed to build decentralised technology-led agency teams, rooted in collaboration with clients from the ground up. Maker Lab’s cross-functional teams of multidisciplinary specialists are embedded into client teams across digital marketing competencies — from measurement & analytics to content production.

Role Summary:

Based in Thailand, you will drive creator community activations, events and shopping programmes for a leading video platform, partnering with agencies to deliver quarterly events and connect creators with sellers and brands.

Role:

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of creator events, owning at least one major event per quarter, from concept and budgeting through to on-site execution and post-event reporting.
  • Act as the main point of contact for event, creative and production agencies, managing briefs, timelines, budgets and quality to ensure every activation is delivered to brand standards and on schedule.
  • Build and grow thriving creator communities across key hubs in Thailand through localised events, workshops, networking sessions and festival tracks.
  • Drive creator adoption of the platform’s shopping features, encouraging creators to produce more shoppable content and increase product tagging, including around seasonal sales moments such as double-date mega sales.
  • Plan and run brand partnership initiatives and matchmaking events that connect creators with sellers and brands.
  • Develop localised educational collateral and onboarding materials to raise creator awareness of monetisation and commerce opportunities.
  • Support social and paid media campaigns that amplify activations, working with internal teams and agencies on content, timings and performance.
  • Translate strategic priorities into clear, actionable activation plans, ensuring campaigns align with the overarching marketing strategy and identifying opportunities for localisation and scale.
  • Track and report on campaign and event performance, applying robust measurement and optimisation to improve efficiency and return on investment.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with global, regional and local marketing teams and cross-functional partners, sharing insights and ongoing feedback.

You:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in event management, marketing or brand activations, with a proven track record of delivering events end to end.
  • Agency background strongly preferred, or hands-on experience managing end-to-end events alongside agency partners.
  • Experience supporting social and paid media campaigns.
  • Familiarity with the creator economy, social commerce or community building is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams, budgets and stakeholders to tight deadlines.
  • Creative and proactive, with a talent for turning complex concepts into practical, well-executed plans.
  • Data-minded and comfortable using metrics to measure success and optimise performance.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with full professional fluency in Thai and English.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.
