Are you passionate about creating structure and high quality in software development? At Makin, you’ll have the opportunity to build the foundation for automated testing from the ground up.

Makin is looking for a Software Test Developer who will design, develop, and establish a new test automation framework that will play a key role in our future development efforts.

By combining GNSS technology with motion and position sensors, Makin’s systems optimize work on construction sites and help reduce resource consumption.

Makin is currently partnering with international partners and is in an exciting growth phase focused on innovation, quality, and development.

The role

As a Software Test Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining automated tests for Makin’s Android application Makin’ 3D.

Initially, you will focus on scripted automated tests, later expanding into unit tests and continuous integration.

You will collaborate closely with developers, testers, and the Product Quality Owner within the Tablet team to ensure quality and stability throughout the development process.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Evaluate and implement testing tools and frameworks
  • Improve code structure for better testability
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Your profile:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and/or test automation
  • Proficiency in C++, C#, Java, or Kotlin
  • Experience with test frameworks and automation
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or similar
