We're looking for an Engineer Substrate Technology in Neuchatel to execute scientific product development, prototyping and characterization of novel substrates that contribute to the sensorial satisfaction of adult consumers!

Impact You'll Own

  • Creation of an innovative culture to maintain/improve substrate portfolio, and keep abreast of consumer insights and industrial developments, to innovate.
  • Definition of novel product strategies for new substrates in order to keep competitive advantage.

What You'll Do

  • Hands-on new substrate formulations from laboratory to industrial scale.
  • Make the link between raw material properties and product deliveries.
  • Define/implement development plans to drive speed, quality, cost-effectiveness, competitiveness and compliance of substrates across platforms and products.
  • Support the scientific product/process understanding, to establish requirements based on risk assessment, performance, safety, quality criteria and timely release.
  • Carry out activities ensuring that compliance policies, standards and laws related are respected.

Skills & Experience

  • Must Have: Master's Degree in Biochemistry, Food Technology, Agri Food Process Engineering
  • Must Have: Demonstrated experience and participating into end-to-end new product design/development engineering.
  • Must Have: Creativity, Critical Thinking, Material Science & Engineering, Prototyping & Experimentation.
