  • Identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities within quality engineering processes and help design and implement practical solutions.
  • Champion quality-focused engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in code and test reviews and coach and guide team members by sharing technical knowledge, testing approaches, and quality engineering practices.
  • Evaluate emerging testing technologies, tools, and frameworks and identify opportunities to strengthen quality and engineering efficiency.
  • Clearly communicate quality risks, findings, recommendations, and potential solutions to technical and non-technical partners.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years’ experience supporting all testing deliverables for complex enterprise implementations.
  • Strong hands-on experience in software quality engineering, including test automation.
  • Experience independently developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing approaches for complex applications.
  • Strong experience with testing and automation technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber, Xray, Jira, Postman, JMeter, or comparable technologies.
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, UI, API, automated, behaviour-driven, and risk-based testing practices.
  • Experience analyzing complex automation failures and software defects and contributing to root cause identification and resolution.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to improve testing processes, automation coverage, and overall software quality.
  • Experience applying quality engineering best practices and determining where different testing approaches are most effective.
  • Strong collaboration skills, including experience working across engineering, product, and other technology partners.
  • Ability to coach, guide, and share quality engineering knowledge and practices with other team members.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate quality risks, technical issues, recommendations, and outcomes.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies and the ability to evaluate how new tools and approaches could improve quality engineering practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience applying AI-assisted techniques to test analysis, test design, defect investigation, test automation development, or quality documentation.
  • Experience with performance testing and API testing.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
