Someone asks a question, shares a complaint, or makes a joke about Manychat. Who gets to answer first? You.

As our Social Community Manager, you’ll be the human voice of Manychat on social. You'll talk with our community every day, answer questions about the platform, and notice what people say about us. You'll also help us find new ways to connect with them.

You don’t need to know our product yet. We’ll teach you. What matters is that you’re calm and respectful with people, curious about what makes an audience care, and eager to learn. This is an early-career role, based in Austin, Texas, with three days a week in the office.

We're the voice of Manychat. A voice that's loud, creative, opinionated, and weird in the best possible way. We combine passion, data, and storytelling to cut through the noise and fuel mad growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 🚀

  • Post and engage with content on Manychat's social channels, and take over posting and engagement for our social team's content as you grow into the role.
  • Talk with our community by replying to comments and DMs, and building real relationships with our audience.
  • Answer platform questions from creators and customers, and pass what you can't solve to the right team.
  • Listen to social conversations to gather sentiment, spot trends, and find opportunities for us to join in.
  • Flag negative sentiment to our brand health team quickly.
  • Help our content travel by supporting podcast distribution and reposting content on channels where Manychat isn't posting yet.
  • Share what you learn with the Head of Social and the wider team, including analytics and listening insights.
  • Grow into more over time: managing the content calendar and bringing your own ideas to the team.

TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE 💥

You'll need:

  • A calm, respectful tone when replying to people, including when they have a problem or a complaint.
  • Clear writing that sounds like a real person.
  • A good feel for how people use social platforms, like Instagram and TikTok.
  • Eagerness to learn Manychat and our product. The first few weeks are for learning, and we'll help.
  • Good organization, so nothing gets missed across several channels.

It would be great if you have:

  • Experience in social media or community management. A recent graduate with a social media internship is welcome to apply.
  • An eye for trends and ideas that could get people engaged.
  • A thoughtful approach to analytics and social listening.
  • Comfort on camera (a bonus, not a requirement).
