Job Summary

Join our Enterprise Applications team as a Junior JDE-E1 Developer to be involved in solution design, development, testing and support of applications for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2. You’ll bring strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to help maintain reliable ERP systems, improve functionality, support cross-platform integrations, and assist our business partners. Our team players are collaborative, accountable, mindful about end-to-end system impacts, and willing to advocate for doing the right thing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Communicate clearly and effectively, articulating issues, risks, recommendations, and progress to business partners, end users, and team members.
  • Demonstrate integrity and accountability, exercise sound judgment, and consistently advocate for doing the right thing while taking ownership of commitments and outcomes.
  • Maintain data integrity through audits and validations, and troubleshoot issues using research, root cause analysis, and end-to-end testing.
  • Manage support tickets and enhancement requests, providing timely updates and escalating risks or issues when appropriate.

Application Support and Troubleshooting

  • Collaborate with the business and IT team to design, develop and document JD Edwards E1 solutions based on business requirements Partner with Enterprise Applications and PMO team to verify solution(s) and drive process, software, and system enhancements Build custom solutions (code, test, configure) based on business requirements and JD Edwards standards using development tools Understand, define, and document system goals and technical system requirements Address system irregularities and troubleshoot issues Provide functional and technical design activities Develop and support interfaces between EnterpriseOne and other applications Work with functional users and user groups to gather, refine, and document system requirements to enhance JDE EnterpriseOne Review system artifacts (code, design documents, test cases, configurations) Develop and maintain applications, reports, Orchestrations and UDO objects Aid in developing company-wide standards and processes to support development and support operational and functional activities Create and execute unit testing, integration testing, implementation, and post review application rollout Lead and coordinate user acceptance testing Provide application support and interface support for all JD Edwards applications

Incident Management

  • Manage and prioritize incident tickets, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal impact on business operationsCoordinate with other IT teams and departments to ensure effective incident management and communication Provide advanced technical support for complex application issues and escalate unresolved issues to proper teams Analyze application logs and performance metrics to find and resolve issues promptly

Documentation and Reporting

  • Write technical specifications based on functional design specificationsDevelop and maintain comprehensive documentation for application support processes, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge bases Prepare and present reports on application performance, incidents, and support activities to management

User Support and Training

  • Provide expert guidance and support to end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving complex user issuesDevelop and deliver training materials and sessions to enhance user knowledge and application proficiency

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications
  • Experience supporting or troubleshooting integrations between JDE and third-party or enterprise platforms is a plus
  • Previous experience working for a construction company and/or with a bilingual workforce is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience designing solutions for complex problems
  • Experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne application upgrades/migrations
  • Experience with business functions, master business functions and NER
  • Experience with Object Oriented Event Driven programming; C, C++, Java, Java Script
  • Experience with JD Edwards BSSV
  • Experience with EnterpriseOne tool set (FDA, RDA, OMW, etc.)
  • Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne distributed architecture
  • Knowledge of ASU, ESU, and SP, and their impact to the development life cycle
  • Outstanding problem-solving and analysis, time management, and verbal/written communications
  • Experience with latest development tools like BI Publisher, groovy scripts, Watchlists, Orchestration, Café one, UX one, One View reporting, etc.

Preferred

  • Experience with Hubble/Insight reporting tool
  • Experience with HTML, servlets, and web application design
  • Strong business knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial, Job Cost, and Purchasing

Skills

  • Understanding end-to-end ERP processes, cross-platform integrations, data flows, and downstream impacts across ERP modules, reporting, security, and business processes
  • Ability to prioritize and support configuration, testing, system updates, documentation, and training
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across HR, Talent, IT, and business teams
  • Sound judgment, accountability, and ownership of commitments and outcomes
  • Strong programming fundamentals and analytical background
  • Logical problem solving and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; specifically, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong ability to learn and follow established processes, playbooks, and standards before recommending changes, ensuring impacts are understood before streamlining or optimizing processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on root cause analysis
  • Understanding of HR lifecycle and talent processes, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
  • Project management experience

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines as business needs require
  • Flexibility to occasionally adjust work hours to support projects, system activities, releases, or critical business needs
  • This is a hybrid position with occasional travel for team meetings, training, and company events
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in an office or remote environment while remaining accessible, engaged, and responsive during established working hours

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance consistent with the requirements of the position
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and through virtual, telephone, and other business channels
  • Ability to use a computer for extended periods to perform system administration, analysis, reporting, documentation, and other job-related activities
  • Ability to occasionally access and navigate construction or job-site environments, which may include stairs or ladders, when required
