The posting

Als verpleegkundige bij Xenia verleen je de dagelijkse professionele zorg aan de gasten en hun naasten die binnen Xenia verblijven. Xenia biedt palliatieve zorg aan jonge mensen van 16 tot 40 jaar en is het eerste hospice in Nederland dat specifiek op deze leeftijdsgroep is gericht. Naast terminale zorg biedt Xenia ook respijtzorg en overbruggingszorg. Sinds 2023 biedt Xenia ook zorg aan de 4 naastgelegen appartementen waar jongvolwassenen wonen met een progressieve spierziekte. In onze zorgappartementen wonen 4 jongvolwassenen tot 40 jaar die ondersteuning nodig hebben bij de ADL.

Van de verpleegkundige werkzaam bij Xenia wordt verwacht dat je vaardig bent en je deskundig en professioneel opstelt. Dit wordt voornamelijk bereikt door scholing, ontwikkeling en specialisatie. Daarnaast zijn ervaring, persoonlijke ontwikkeling en vooral houding belangrijke aspecten.

Wij zijn op zoek naar een verpleegkundige die als oproepkracht ons team wil versterken. Je werkt voornamelijk dag- en avonddiensten en bent flexibel inzetbaar wanneer dat nodig is. Incidenteel kan het voorkomen dat je een nachtdienst overneemt. Samen met collega’s zorg je voor een veilige, warme en huiselijke omgeving waarin persoonlijke aandacht centraal staat.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden in hoofdlijnen

  • zorg plannen voor de gasten, logeergasten en hun naasten in de palliatieve fase bij Xenia samen met vrijwilligers en andere zorgverleners die zorg verlenen
  • zorg verlenen aan de mensen van de zorgappartementen
  • in samenspraak met de vrijwilligers plan je de dagelijkse gang van zaken in
  • je draagt zorg voor het op peil brengen/houden van je eigen deskundigheid
  • je draagt verantwoordelijkheid af over de professionele zorg als lid van een zelfsturend zorgteam aan de manager van Xenia

Als verpleegkundige

  • heb je het diploma verpleegkundige
  • ben je BIG geregistreerd
  • heb je affiniteit met jonge mensen
  • ben je in staat tot zelfstandige organisatie van de zorg en daarnaast nauw samen te werken met vrijwilligers
  • heb je goede communicatieve eigenschappen
  • heb je een flexibele instelling

En natuurlijk zorgen wij dat alle andere zaken ook goed geregeld zijn. Zo zorgen wij voor:
