Job description

About MARI Group MARI is a global events and experiences company powering world-defining live experiences. Our portfolio of premium live properties spans sports, art, and entertainment — including the Madrid and Miami Open tennis tournaments, Frieze (a leading voice in contemporary art), and Barrett-Jackson (the premium U.S. collector car auction company). MARI also includes TodayTix Group, the global e-commerce leader for cultural experiences, connecting millions of customers with the best in live entertainment.

MARI is reshaping the live events landscape — building a growing portfolio of category-defining events and brands that set the standard for what's next, across sports, entertainment, art, and lifestyle.

At MARI, you'll work alongside people who are passionate, curious, and driven — people who believe that live experiences have the power to shape culture, and who care about the work, the mission, and each other. We welcome outstanding applicants of all backgrounds and encourage everyone to apply.

About the Role MARI is looking for an energetic, highly organized, and proactive Executive Assistant to support our Managing Partner and Chief Financial Officer. In this role, you’ll work closely with two senior leaders, helping drive their day-to-day effectiveness by staying ahead of priorities, navigating competing demands, and ensuring the details are always taken care of. From managing complex schedules and coordinating global travel to supporting executive meetings and bringing MARI events to life, you’ll play an important role in keeping our leadership team connected, focused, and moving forward.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to see firsthand what it takes to shape the future of live experiences across sports, art, entertainment, and culture. If you’re resourceful, solutions-oriented, and excited to learn alongside passionate people building category-defining brands, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a full-time role based in New York, NY with a minimum 4 days onsite. Candidates must be able to work Eastern Time hours and remain available through the end of the Pacific Time workday as needed.

The salary range for this role is: $60,000 - $70,000. Salary is determined by market data, experience, location, and internal banding. Ranges will be discussed transparently during the interview process.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Seamless calendar management: Executive calendars are managed proactively across time zones, with competing priorities balanced and high-priority meetings accommodated.
  • Efficient travel and expense support: Domestic and international travel is coordinated smoothly, and expenses are reconciled accurately and on time.
  • Polished event coordination: Guest invitations, RSVPs, and event logistics are managed end to end, delivering a seamless experience for MARI guests.
  • Trusted partnership: Executives rely on you to anticipate needs, follow through independently, and handle confidential information with discretion.

What You'll Own:

  • Manage complex calendars for two senior executives across multiple time zones, scheduling meetings and communicating changes in a timely, professional manner.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including itineraries, transportation, and accommodations.
  • Process and reconcile expense reports accurately and on time.
  • Manage guest invitations, RSVPs, and logistics for MARI events.
  • Prepare meeting materials and draft, proofread, and edit correspondence.
  • Track action items, deadlines, and follow-ups to keep priorities on track.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for senior leadership, portfolio companies, external partners, and fellow executive assistants.
  • Handle confidential business, financial, and personal information with discretion.

What You Bring:

  • 0–2 years of administrative, internship, coordinator, or other relevant professional experience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with consistent follow-through.
  • A proactive, resourceful approach, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A calm, flexible, and solutions-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professionalism, dependability, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • An interest in live events, sports, art, or entertainment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with expense management platforms is a plus.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
